Truly awful showing from the raps, at 8-3 Casey is officially nurses father.

Yeah nurse won a championship so…. it looks like Casey the son and nurse the father

Damn If raps hit their shots tonight, Detroit would’ve got booty clapped, but it’s dwayne Casey coaching so its gonna be hard. But atleast nick nurse won a championship and Dwyane Casey didn’t lol🤣🤣🤣.

Casey is now 8-3 against his former team and yet he says he’s not upset being fired lol he couldn’t do what Nurse did in 1 year what if the Raptors never fired him and still got Kawhi n Danny Green would the Raptors still win a championship in 2019 nobody knows 🤔

If you look up “embarrassing” in the dictionary you will see a picture of the Raptors. No excuse losing to the Pistons twice this season.

Yes, our Raps did not play well tonight and Dwane Casey will forever be part of the Raps legacy and has all the reverence and respect from us. But Lyle, who buried our Olympics run, and Joseph who was supposed to “lead” that same Team Canada, all of a sudden woke up tonight, sneering and all? Time to pick someone more genuine for the next Games.

It’s sad that the Raptors could’ve won that championship in a Lebron-less East with DeRozan just as easily than with Kawhi.. but they sold their soul and instead of consistently winning 60 games a year, they’re consistently going to struggle to get 40.

      January 14, 2022 at 10:23 pm

Wouldn’t have passed Philly and Milwaukee with Demar instead of Kawhi

    • Roger Roger

      January 14, 2022 at 10:23 pm

@Artisan Windchimes how so? They always took Cleveland to 6 games. Maybe they played better overall and didn’t need the end game theatrics.

    • Roger Roger

      January 14, 2022 at 10:25 pm

You see Demar play like a mvp this year? He’s in a comfortable system. Only would’ve been more comfortable in Toronto I think.

      January 14, 2022 at 10:35 pm

i respect dwayne casey. he was the one that built the foundation of what raptors are today but he has his flaws. he is stubborn and doesn’t adjust. he will put cj miles on lebron for 48 minutes and lebron will toast him for 50 points. derozan was deFROZEN in the playoffs, look at his stats. when the raps were down philly, milwaukee series, casey would never adjust they would lose down 2-1, 2-0. nurse is a genius. only reason why casey wins against nurse is because all the plays they run are the same and casey knows them.

The Pistons are getting it together. Good to see, and they’ll only get better.

    • Wojak-Sensei

      January 14, 2022 at 10:48 pm

They need a team identity. Are we a defensive team, an offensive team, or a balance between the two? Is Cade gonna have full authority over the offense or will he have to share it with Hayes and Grant? Is Bay gonna assert himself more or should he play along the motions of the offense? Do we have a stopper here? Who’s the voice of the team? Etc.

This rebuild will probably bear fruit next year, and I want to see how Detroit answers these questions moving on.

everytime the pistons play the raps they turn into the 96 bulls. Dwane casey needs to realize his franchise is in a rebuild mode and that his previous team let him go for a reason. He needs to get over it and stop ordering his players to pummel the raptors, and then let them get pummelled by every other team in the league.

Detroit always shows up when the Raptors play, man we need gary trent jr back for floor spacing, guard defense and alleviate stagnant offensive output. When it comes to Cade I feel like I’m watching Tatum his first year knowing he’s going to be a problem for years to come.

I really like achiuwa’s effort it was clearly better than Barnes. OG is my fav raptor but damn dude needs to learn to pull up and improve his post moves. We have whole team who is a role player with not much movement and when they did it was too late. Fred’s hero ball will not work every game. Siakam was just phenomenal

50% raptors dont respect bad teams 50% the refs called the victory early.

3 raptors got hit in the face and only 1 was a basic foul
Cade broke birches nose and got nothing but 2 points for it
And then despite all the flagrants going uncalled on detroit….. phatom calls on raptors players all night.

Nba officiating is an absolute joke on 80% of the games and the other 20% is barely passable. In 10 years i dont think ive ver seen a game with proper officiating.

Wow 🤣🤣 its hilarious to see these games be so obviously rigged now and days like they don’t even be discreet about it at all I mean I had Pistons +10/under only because I knew they was gone rigg this game nba needs drama and a raptors team beating a Pistons team is to obvious but Pistons beating a raptors team would be great story and more views pathetic 🤦🏾‍♂️🤣

If we only had Ben Simmons. Hmmm. We could make a playoff run. Upset a team. That bench filled with first round picks. Some top ten. Josh Jackson. Was picked high. Sabin Lee. Best player in the G League. Teams using zone to defend the fast break leaves you open from deep. We got some guys that can shoot it. They gamble. They pay. If Detroit stay healthy. No team will be able to defend them by Spring. Cade and Sadiq keep clicking. Hami and Stew off the ball. Sabin bringing it down. Gunning for the basket like a bullet. Detroit stay healthy. We gone be a problem.
