Rooting for our new guy 55. I think he’s got the stable/calm-minded/sturdy defence, screens, and rebounds that we’ve been missing from our big men.

Malachi Flynn is the steal. Toronto is just so good at developing and getting draft steals and trading situations it’s crazy.
    Lowry
    Siakam
    Anunoby
Powell(ok ik he’s on Portland but we all know he was better w Toronto and they developed him)
    Watanabe
    Gary Trent
At the moment the Gillepse dude
    Hose Calderone
    Chris Boucher
    Stanley Johnson(good defense)
    And now Malachi Flynn

Such an odd season for the Raptors – they’re either blowing leads late in the game to lose by a missed buzzer beater, or they’re taking to their opposition and racking up the scoreboard. Doesn’t seem to be any in between games. You have to hand it to them – 2 starting point guards out, no Siakam either, they haven’t played well without a disciplined center, and they still pull off a huge win. Given, Trent was stuck on autopilot all game long, but I saw some encouraging signs from Malachi Flynn, Watanabe, Stanley Johnson, and Bembry too.
Having OG and Trent together is pretty magical. You can tell they like playing together, especially when GT Jr goes off for nights like this one.
