The Pistons are starting to have good problems like who makes the end of the roster. I like Garza but is he Boban again? Or is the fact he can shoot from 3 enough of an upgrade for him to make the roster?

I can’t help rooting for Garza. I’ve watched him since he was with the Iowa Hawkeyes and he works so hard to improve his body and his ball skills. The ability to shoot from outside is a big help and I think his future in the NBA is going to come down to how well he can play defense. His feet are a little slow and he’ll never be a very good defender, but if he can be adequate on defense, combined with his strong offensive skills, I think he has a real shot at making it.

Summer league proves little to nothing, but Garza has earned a spot and looks significantly better than his college days. I guess losing that 30lbs helped a lot. He can shoot from anywhere, grabs some rebounds. Excited to see what he can do off the bench.
