Kent Hanson he’s a defensive liability and only does well against other traditional big men with low foot speed and no range. (A trend that the nba is going away from).
Watch him against a fleet footed athletic big/tweeter and it’s embarrassing on both ends of the floor. He also unlike other traditional big men offers little to no rim protection especially above the rim.
I watched him in Toronto for years.

Delta Whiskey bro…if you are a 7 footer and play more than 25 mins of basketball and you spend the vast majority of your time in the paint and you can’t get a double double….you’re terrible.
What sets a player aside are the intangibles. Does he defend? Help create opportunities for other players? Is he a net gain on the court? If Memphis makes the playoffs he will have his inevitable brain freeze. I watched Marcin Gortat dominate him, nuff said.

Dillon Brooks and JJJ are really underrated. They are great for this team. Brooks is a great scorer and JJJ plays pretty good defense, can shoot the three, and has a great spin move in the paint. Valenciunas is doing good with his role on this team, too. Another notable player is Clarke. He is very efficient. Morant is something outta this world…Memphis really has done great with turning this team into something worth watching. Props to everyone on Memphis. From the ground up, I have been watching a ton of their games this year!
