Yeah because they brought him in to play a completely different style of basketball than what he has always played. He’s not the first person Lebron made worse by reducing him to a “stand around and wait for the kick out 3” guy

@@kaydeviousnothing to do with that. Put Russel Westbrook on any team he’s been on after the Lakers but making 50M.
On the Nuggets there’s no role players if he makes 50M.
The problem with Russ on the Lakers was that he took 50M off the books. It was basically AD, Lebron and Russel and a bunch of old bums that are now all retired.
Plus, Lebron and Westbrook don’t fit. They have exactly the same play style. Same now with Lebron with Luka.
Lebron can play off ball but not every play. Luka just can’t play off ball, he’s minus one. You add Austin Reaves to the equation who is also weak off ball and you have a stagnant offense.
And defense even worse, Lebron only plays defense every once in a while, Luka and Reaves can’t play any defense regardless of how hard they try.
Lakers should decide which players they want to stay with. It’s either LeBron and Luka or Reaves and Luka. And then build around that.

Lebron is the only reason LA even made the playoffs. Luka was only there for half of the season, meaning LeBron and Luka still have chemsitry issues it takes longer than half a season for players to develop chemistry. Lebron is the only player who showed up for the Lakers against the wolves. The man is 40 years old, and he outplayed a prime luka doncic. A guy in his 22nd year can’t be the only player who shows up and expects to win a series against a good all-around. Bron James deserves all the credit, and people are acting like he choked. It’s no choke job if you are the only player that is showing your teammates have to do their part as well and they didnt. Plain and simple. Bron did all he could he competes every single night and plays hard.

They need a perimeter defender and a center that’ can defend and put in lobs like Mitchell Robinson and C. Capela. Maybe pick up Marcus Smart and Donte DiVinceno backcourt defenders.
