Trae deserves to be starting so what my hawks have been through a lot this season but no matter what we ply to the end and Trae still plays hard ball

  2. Michelangelo Oliver

    January 4, 2022 at 12:41 pm

    Yes, he should.

  3. John Thompson

    January 4, 2022 at 12:44 pm

Literally what other pg deserves to start

    • 0hsoAJ

      January 4, 2022 at 12:52 pm

Right , it’s early in the season too hawks can always turn it around. Last year they wasn’t in the playoff hunt around all star tjme and they snubbed him and then he went to ECF

      FVV over trae!!!

  4. Manny Irving

    January 4, 2022 at 12:45 pm

Hawks should tank the season 😈😈😈😈

  5. SS

    January 4, 2022 at 12:49 pm

Starting 5 for the East all stars

    Trae
    Harden
    Demar
    Durant
    Giannis

    • 0hsoAJ

      January 4, 2022 at 12:58 pm

      Trae
Demar ( cus he’s listed as guard even though he plays foward this year .)
      Durant
      Giannis
      Embiid

    • Gseric47

      January 4, 2022 at 1:13 pm

@0hsoAJ That’s what my vote would be.

  6. JUST

    January 4, 2022 at 12:49 pm

I mean Lavine and DeRozan should start the all star game, so he’s not wrong. But Perk ain’t the one who should say it

    • 0hsoAJ

      January 4, 2022 at 12:58 pm

Derozan plays foward and shouldn’t take away a point guard spot from somebody who is worthy and clearing all the other point guards in the East . Zach can come off the bench ,
      Trae
      Demar
      KD
      Giannis
      Embiid

    • JUST

      January 4, 2022 at 1:03 pm

@0hsoAJ sorry to bust your bubble. But DeMar is listed as a Guard this year.

    • 0hsoAJ

      January 4, 2022 at 1:07 pm

      @JUST
I know but Trae is the best point guard in the East by far this year so he needs to start

  7. Bret Maverick

    January 4, 2022 at 12:50 pm

He’s 2nd in the league in scoring and 3rd in the league in assists. He is obviously the best PG in the East and an all-star starter.

    • Ice Trae Young

      January 4, 2022 at 2:09 pm

1st in total points while playing 1 less game than Curry

    • Saucegay Uchiha

      January 4, 2022 at 3:03 pm

@Ice Trae Young and 12 in east

    • Bret Maverick

      January 4, 2022 at 3:27 pm

      @Ice Trae Young facts

    • Bret Maverick

      January 4, 2022 at 3:27 pm

@Saucegay Uchiha so you blame that entirely on him?

    • Saucegay Uchiha

      January 4, 2022 at 3:31 pm

      @Bret Maverick not entirely

  8. Tony Wong

    January 4, 2022 at 12:54 pm

It’s the all star game. So yes, trae should start. This isnt an mvp vote.

  9. Markoh Salgueiro

    January 4, 2022 at 12:59 pm

Correct. East backcourt is DeRozan and Lavine

    • Dougie T.

      January 4, 2022 at 1:29 pm

Lonzo-Lavine-Derozen. One of them is a Forward, and prob. Derozen

    • 0hsoAJ

      January 4, 2022 at 1:55 pm

There both shooting guards and demar plays SF so that’s not fair to snub the best Pg In the East this year in trae

  10. Chapos Shoota

    January 4, 2022 at 1:01 pm

If it was Lebron you know perk would have all the arguments to why Lebron deserves to start 🙄🤦🏾‍♂️

    • Troy Gordley

      January 4, 2022 at 1:14 pm

I mean we can say it now. LeBron is playing well but his team is trash so he doesn’t deserve the starting spot?

    • Chapos Shoota

      January 4, 2022 at 2:19 pm

@Troy Gordley nah I think he deserves to start…there isn’t anyone at his position who has played better than him in the west but same goes for Trae young, that’s my point they both deserve to start because no one at their positions has been better

  11. Dylan Cooper

    January 4, 2022 at 1:04 pm

Trae’s performance in last year’s playoffs should guarantee him the spot. This isn’t the end of season awards where team standings and regular season performance is all we look at, the playoffs have always been a big part of who plays/starts in the allstar game.

    • micheal olusanya

      January 4, 2022 at 5:21 pm

As a starter though. Winning has to account for something. Ik the bulls and nets have been healthier but their play has been close to the same level as trae with wins added in.

    • Ozzee

      January 4, 2022 at 7:27 pm

@micheal olusanya winning obviously does count but trae is playing at such an outrageous level that his starting spot is more than warranted.

  12. Philly Jackson

    January 4, 2022 at 1:05 pm

Best PG in the east and doesn’t think he should be an all star starter? Okay stay off the Perc there Perk 😂

    • here wego

      January 4, 2022 at 3:03 pm

Kyrie should be able to get in All star game if Trae Young’s starting he doesn’t make team better they are trash

    • Saucegay Uchiha

      January 4, 2022 at 3:05 pm

Lamelo and harden is better than trae they make their team better unlike trae young

  13. Gseric47

    January 4, 2022 at 1:09 pm

Well, Trae’s already proven that he can produce these types of numbers, with or without a good record. Up to the votes tho

  14. Troy Gordley

    January 4, 2022 at 1:13 pm

Perks goes off of wins when it contains to a player being an all star game starter but doesn’t like the championship talk when comparing MJ and LeBron 🥴

    • Big Dawg Talk podcast

      TALK ABOUT IT

  15. Kimo Abdulkadir

    ight bet.

  16. Your Friendly Neighborhood Smark

    January 4, 2022 at 1:26 pm

DO NOT make the same mistake you did last year. Trae is definitely an All star. He’s the best guard in the East not named Kyrie who isn’t here at the moment

    • Chapos Shoota

      January 4, 2022 at 7:54 pm

@Nic Tolliver because although they have played great and the bulls have a good record none of them is puttin up the production Trae is, if the hawks were anywhere near the top 3 Trae would be in the MVP convo easily

    • Nic Tolliver

      January 4, 2022 at 8:05 pm

@Chapos Shoota they’re only two points shy from what he’s putting up I’m not hating but 26-5-5 and 28-9-3 isn’t a huge difference, and on top of that Zach n DeMar are scoring more efficiently and averaging 2 turnovers to Traes 4, when the individual stat competition gets close gotta include team record as the ice breaker🤷🏽‍♂️

    • Chapos Shoota

      January 4, 2022 at 8:11 pm

@Nic Tolliver I feel u but think about it bulls have Zach AND demar puttin up this numbers the next closest guy for the hawks is JC wit 17 PPG, Trae is doing this with little to no help if he had a 25+ PPG scorer to take the attention off him his numbers could be even better and also Trae is the PG so of course he will have more TO per game, if Zach or demar had to bring it up every possession they would have more trust

    • Nic Tolliver

      January 4, 2022 at 8:26 pm

@Chapos Shoota we wouldn’t have to decide if DeMar was listed as forward for the game considering he played SF-PF and even center this season

    • Chapos Shoota

      January 4, 2022 at 8:34 pm

      @Nic Tolliver facts I agree

  17. Kel Nash

    January 4, 2022 at 1:47 pm

Lakers are struggling but no one questions LeBron’s greatness or if ever he should be in the All star.. Individually Trae is doing well so why can’t he be in the All Star that’s why we don’t vote for team but individuals…

  18. Max Patel

    January 4, 2022 at 1:48 pm

I’d like to see someone like Lavine get a start over Trae because the Bulls deserve 2 starters

    • 2436dan

      January 4, 2022 at 2:13 pm

The bulls deserve two All-Stars, but not two starters. One starter and one reserve

  19. C7

    January 4, 2022 at 1:58 pm

    Lavine,Derozan,KD,Giannis,Embiid!

  20. David Press

    January 4, 2022 at 2:24 pm

He made History and you don’t think he’s an all Star. HE IS The 🐐 last night

  21. Chris Jones

    January 4, 2022 at 2:57 pm

    Sooo who’s starting over him?

  22. LaValle Barlow

    January 4, 2022 at 4:33 pm

He should start bc of his Box Office qualities. He doesn’t have a KD, Kyrie, Westbrook etc and still gives it his all. While being Undersized.

  23. Raphael Maia

    January 4, 2022 at 6:06 pm

Wins? I remember a few years ago when Kemba was playing for the Hornets and was dropping 60 pts he was an all star starter that year and Hornets was on the bottom seed. Also NO I don’t think Trae is an all star starter this year.

  24. Jacobs Trouble

    January 4, 2022 at 7:23 pm

It’s always Trae they want to exclude
