These people comparing Embiid to Jokic are on crack. Jokic is so much better. I’m a Dallas fan but Jokic is a baller!! #JOKICMVP

  12. Who What

    February 2, 2021 at 6:13 pm

Jokic is better just because Joel Embiid is injury queen he already star skiping games and he dont have endurance for long tough play off and Jokic is even better in play off than in regular season.

Jokic is such a beast and his sight of the court is insane for a CENTER!
    Wow.

No centers like him in the past, not like this.

For the first time since 2006, two CENTERS have won the East & West Player of the Month awards, Nikola Jokić and Joel Embiid.

Dwight Howard and Yao Ming were the last ones to do it.

Wouldn’t mind seeing a big man take the MVP torphy home

It is only logical, he is constantly the Most Valuable Player within his team and by large.
And after that game vs Jazz Utah where he scored 47 points (he could’ve scored more, but he basically said “We gonna win, my job is done “. he should be considered as a real MVP candidate.

  28. Маrio Mаrio

    February 3, 2021 at 8:23 am

They keep saying he is slow, for center he isnt slow, quite the opposite, he is very fast, especially this season. And I dont see why he will not continue to play like this throw whole season. Cant wait game against lakers!

Per NBA Reference’s rating Jokic’s PER is 31.3 this season. That is the “Runaway MVP candidate”-level. Sick!

  32. Guten Abend

    February 3, 2021 at 11:18 am

Despite this MVP stats, still no Allstar starter for him. They’ll push it with the usual AD-Lebron-Kawhi for the Frontcourt. Man i wish they’d bring back the old format. Frontcourt Backcourt is shit. Keep the “Captain” thing, just bring back vote for each position.

Jokic plays in his own flow. It’s just amazing to watch, super high basketball IQ, he can see so much more of the court because of his height and just able to make crazy dimes. Definitely one of the greatest Centers of all time. #JokicMVP

Right embiid should not be mentioned in the same sentence as jokic , one is a one of a kind generational player the other gets 12 free throws per game

    • Evan Klein

Really cool to see two centers as players of the month in both conferences! One who’s the best playmaking/passing center ever, revolutionizing the position while the other is a more traditional bruiser but both with a great touch in their shots and great footwork. Would love to see Embiid v Jokic this year
