He was already a killer, even had the conditioning and stamina to go through a 4OT game a few years ago despite his size. Meanwhile “physical specimens” like Embiid and AD seem like they cant get through a week without missing time.

The difference between Jokić and L. Jems, Carry, Lillard and other great players is simple. Jokic gat biger IQ for play,and plays for his team and the statistics are not important to him, but that his team plays well and wins, LeBron, Carry the players in the team are subordinated to them and they play moor for self and their statistics. Jokic was double teamed, and all the Nuggets were standing still. He than put his arm up (holding the ball in one hand during double team) and he motioned to Gordon like “Are you going to stand there all day, or are you going to cut”.
The moment AG cut, the defender dropped down by 2 feet, which made him lob that pass for a 3 PT.
Jokic was instrumental in every single basket scored in both overtimes!

Despite the win, Nuggets could improve significantly; but I think coach Malone had a very poor performance.
Nuggs should have won at end of regulation, all they had to do was foul on the floor to force Blazers to shoot free throws. Instead, they let Lillard rain 3 PT’s.
Malone stubbornly kept Porter or Rivers on Dame, but they cannot guard him. Porter especially cannot guard him. He should have Gordon on Lillard in those situations or a double team.
I hope Jokic plays more physically & dominantly; where he takes the ball in and lowers his shoulder. Hopefully Facu & Joker embrace back their superb pick & roll plays & crashing the paint.
Excellent work on helping foul out Nurkic. That was strategic!
