Stop smoking crack. Stop it. Seek help. Luka’s defense will NEVER elevate CONSISTENTLY. His defense range is TERRIBLE to GOOD, SOMETIMES. He is who he is. Excessive usage rate. Ran off Porzingis and Brunson— both thriving very well with their new teams. Excessive whining and flopping. Great on offense, usually. He’s just Luka. His way. Unlikely he’ll win a title unless he catches a year where the deepest teams are also the most injured. He’s just himself. As for Jokic, greatest center of his era. Won’t crack the top 4. Prisoners of the moment. The greatest eras of center played each other. That matters. Jokic dunking isn’t news. You all sound like prepubescent children, unable to discuss real basketball.

So you just conceded the point by calling him good? Hes been called a terrible defender for years yet you’ve just admitted hes become a good one.
In my opinion hes at very good with flashes of great in the playoffs while injured.
He played insanely good defense for multiple games against the Clippers, straight up locked them up.
Vs OKC he hasnt been at that level consistently but hes been good at worst.

He has never sustained even GOOD defense against the lesser offensive players. That’s WHY all of the advanced metrics rate him poorly — and crying about it because you like a guy’s personality doesn’t change that. He’s great on offense… USUALLY. But his defense is often TERRIBLE all the way to GOOD, SOMETIMES. That’s his range.

The funny thing is that when Shaq came to Croatia on island Krk (where Luka goes on vacation) to dj at the most famous club there he had a hotel reservation and Luka went and paid for a villa next to the beach with full staff and everything just for him to stay there… And he still hates him😂

This one of the best games I’ve seen from him! Low turnovers, decent shooting % from the floor and from deep! Triple double! Not great defense but that block on buddy at the end was clutch! Those alleys in the 1st quarter plus them 2 3s got shit rolling for Dallas! AND HE DIDNT CRY TO THE REFS ALL GAME!!!!!!!!!! I’m so proud of my boy for that last one!

either ppl dont really watch games, or dont have a good enough grasp on what defense is. He’s limiting the blow bys, swiping the ball when he does get blown by, showing hands, sliding feet, using his mass to keep scorers from getting to their spots. Last series i think he only lets like 1 of 13 shots go in while he was contesting them, some crazy stat like that.
