I was hoping LBJ coulda recruited Love to the Lakers, he is a solid fit with AD and LBJ. Good for the Heat, this guy might not be the 20-10 anymore but can still contribute to a championship roster.

Nope … the NBA changed the rules in 2019. He first controls the pass in a “gathering step” and is allowed two additional steps. Then he dribbles and picks up (stops) his dribble in a SECOND “gathering step” after which he is allowed two additional steps. I know it seems outrageous but the NBA wanted more acrobatics, more action, more scoring, and most of all more dunks. The fans love it. You can read the rules at “travel rules NBA dot com.”
