Published

on

Rachel Nichols, Michael Wilbon and Scottie Pippen discuss Steve Kerr’s comments following LA Clippers vs. Golden State Warriors, about the coming struggles of Stephen Curry, Draymond Green and D’Angelo Russell during the 2019-20 NBA season. They then (2:58) let Scottie react to the story in The Athletic that the Chicago Bulls and coach Jim Boylen have players punching time cards.

Curry didn’t matter for years when he entered the league then he became a great player. That Warriors team got really cocky and nobody likes that. Now they gotta come back down to earth.

What happened now huh? What’s up with Mr. 2 time MVPS including the first unanimous!!! I have been saying it many times that he isn’t a franchise changer like MJ, Kobe, LBJ, and etc.

Pippen is right: Steph had people around him who made thing easy for him and he got a lot of individual praise for it. And he accepts the praise. That’s why players go at him. I don’t think he’ll live up to expectations without Klay and kD.

I can respect both of these dudes analysis on Steph. They see the struggle but they don’t just dismiss the warriors completely. All the clowns saying warriors ain’t gonna be good stupid. It’s basically a brand new team, these young guys gotta learn to play with Steph and Steph is giving DLO and everyone else chances. At some point Draymond gonna speak cuz right now he’s letting the young new guys play and learn the system. But watching the game against the clippers, the passes to Steph as he cuts behind screens and get to wide open spots aren’t coming. In time I think they’ll learn the plays and the system. Gotta realize that KD was already a good player when he got there, but if you’re just average you’ve never played with someone like Steph before. He demands so much attention on offense and constantly in motion. Can’t have the call stick. Only Steph is allowed to handle the ball and just dribble for fun. That’s the warriors offense and can’t blame these dudes cuz it’s an offense never before seen in the nba before Steph.

He simply ruined the NBA by forcing almost every player to shoot 3s. Killed “Old school basketball”. The NBA has become an 3 point shooting Contest on every game because of Steph!!!

Bruh all we’ve seen is GSW losing against the two top teams in the league and we still managed to win against the Lakers with this new roster with no chemistry yet. We lost against the best defense team in the league and favorites to win it all, so I don’t think this is what we getting every night.

    Steph getting targeted because

he doesn’t have Klay to guard his matchup for him while his matchup on the other end has to go through 80 illegal screens to watch Steph shimmy down the court after a 3 or roasts their big

Every point guard in the league sees how the media gave Steph the first ever unanimous MVP when greats like LeBron & MJ got shorted by a single vote

Steph rarely faces double teams prior to this year , and has been BLESSED to have Klay and Draymond and then later KD.

For anyone that wants to reference the Warriors coming back 3-1 against the Thunder.
KLAY game 6 performance sparked that comeback

For anyone that wants to reference that
Steph had a ring prior to KD coming there

Love & Kyrie was injured after game 1 and LeBron still forced it to 6 games

In the next series, The Warriors gave up a 3-1 lead that was punctuated with Kyrie dotting Steph eye with the game sealing 3 in game 7.

But how often does any media members mention possibly the biggest moment and shot of the millennium? Never.

Warriors have always been the ultimate front runners more so Steph & Dray than Klay so of course the league wants to demoralize and leave the Warriors for dead.

Golden State lost so much spacing and veterans they won’t win 60 games this season but are capable of making the playoffs at least
