Rudy’s not great as an on-ball defender for Joker. He needs to be off ball to be effective and alter shots. Let’s not act like KAT would be the difference defensively… If that woulda worked, they would’ve tried it already.

These guys are being very unfair to Gobert. If you look at these shots from Joker, it reminds me of Kareem Abdul Jabbar, how the hell do you defend against that. Joker developed these shots it’s impossible to block such shot or even do anything about it. It’s just the most difficult way to score. He’s fading away and shooting with one hand. No way anyone would block that. Furthermore he’s using his body to separate from the defender and If you double him he will pass so please stop the bs go yourself and try to stop him

Stop making it about Gobert. If Lebron did that noone would be talking about the defense. Yall wanted to write Jokic off and even put all his MVP awards under question based on two games. And now he’s embarassed and exposed u bums. Noones buying your bs anymore.

Why does K.Perkins get a vote in player awards….preposterous!!! Wemby avg. 3.6blks/gm & Rudy 2.1……

Gobert is not a great one on one defender, that’s not what he does, he achors a number 1 defense. Good Offense beats good defense

Hey guys maybe just maybe that game 2 was an anomaly?! Have they looked like that all year or multiple times? no.

Also maybeeeee denver was tired and hurt or half sleep. They woke up and been smacking since. Next?

Best chance for Minnesota to win game 6 is to send gobert on paternity leave and I ain’t even blaming him for not stopping him defensively but he don’t make him work at all on the other end

The refs are the superstars of the Minnesota Denver series. The refs made the biggest comeback in NBA history in game 3. 😂

Are you implying that there is a free throw disparity? Because the nuggets only lead that margin by three.

      May 17, 2024 at 1:07 am

@@phillipg1331 I don’t know why people forget that all fouls aren’t shooting fouls. It’s possible to get more calls without having more free throws.

    Guys you make me laugh.
You say Zo, you say Mutombo, you say Ben Wallace but come on…
The others center at this period were not able to do what Jokic does.
He can dribble, he can shoot anywhere on the court, he can pass as a point guard.
Shaq, Duncan, Hakeem, David, Yao… were not able to do what Jokic does.
So of course Rudy needs to push Jokic out of his comfort but imagine the challenge it is.😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The reason, Mr. Kendrick “Look, I played in the post” Perkins — and you know this, Gobert doesn’t get respect from his (NBA) peers is because he’s European and because he’s actually a genuine person, i.e. says what he honestly feels, on and off cam. For some reason, the new cats (the IG and TikTok generation players) have serious problems with that.
