Michael Porter Jr. is the Nuggets’ secret weapon, and the team knows it – Nick Friedell | The Jump

Published

on

Amin Elhassan, Nick Friedell and Scottie Pippen play “Make or Miss,” recapping Ricky Rubio throwing a half-court lob to Phoenix Suns teammate Deandre Ayton, a terrible double-dribble no-call from Denver Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic, some sick moves from Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell, and Memphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant skipping the 2020 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. They then (2:46) discuss what’s next for Michael Porter Jr. after coach Mike Malone’s postgame comments, and (5:04) whether Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson will play during the 2019-20 NBA season.

Mizzou fans have a saying and it’s – “Missouri can’t have nice things.” Mizzou fans hardly knew you, MPJ, but It wasn’t his fault and he wanted to do good things for the school. It’s always sad to see those young players who had a lot of promise get derailed by injuries, so I’m glad to see he’s healthy and on the rise and I wish him the best of luck.

Klay one of those guys you gotta save from himself. Keep him on ice, let him come back when he’s for sure good and ready, not when his pain tolerance tells him he can gut it out

good thing the warriors stick with Klay and didn’t trade him

He’s the player Denver needs to win a ring at some point. I love seeing teams get star potential talent , I don’t even have to be rooting for them . I’m excited for Memphis too!

Ja morant sitting out the dunk contest is interesting seeing as he’s made every single grizzlies game this year his own personal dunk contest maybe he just doesn’t like sharing the spotlight

At 1:25 the ref signals for a double dribble. Not sure if he blew the whistle or not, but he def signaled for it.
