what we learned: playoff jimmy is a thing and jaylen brown and dillon brooks should be shipped to china, jokic is the best in the leauge and finally the kicks will forever hate julius randle

I don’t think Jaylen Brown should be shipped to China just yet, but someone should tell him that he’s not a point guard

      June 16, 2023 at 10:50 am

@ray herrera are you dumb or are you stupid, this iteration of the Heat team (the Jimmy Era) hasn’t been gentleman’s swept in the finals more than once. They lost in 6 against the Lakers fool

    • ray herrera

      June 16, 2023 at 2:55 pm

@Almighty Dez dam I do see the confusion I didn’t mean in finals on general I mean as in this year in finals , meant playoff runs in general

Heat own Celtics. They’ve been like 2/5 since 08. And all 3 prevent them from making the finals 😅

The greatest run from an 8th seed, people will underrate this run and make excuses like Giannis being injured this and that, but people forget they themselves didn’t have their 3rd and 4th best player for practically the entire playoffs in Herro and VO, but didn’t make excuses and just put their head down and played

    • Epic Malick

      June 16, 2023 at 10:56 am

Difference here is that Giannis is their top 1 player

    • Vita Vea

      June 16, 2023 at 11:15 am

@Epic Malick and Giannis lost all three games he played in

@vLuqas nah knicks and heat were around the same level in skill and the series was relatively decent it was predicted to go either way. knicks fans are also just ass in general

A season to remember. Technically, we were the 7th seed, but hey, new Play-In rules are most likely here to stay, and we drop to the 8th seed, where we made history. We might not have had the result we wanted, but we still, against all odds, overachieved.

Herro goes out, and so is Oladipo. It just shows that Miami is arguably the most balanced team in the league. Anyone, and I mean, ANYONE can just spark off, made themselves known and simply made a difference in the game. Vincent. Martin. Lowry. Robinson. Strus. Highsmith even got a piece of the playoff cake. And of course, our star duo Butler and Adebayo—with Jimmy carrying us in the East and Bam in the Finals.

We still, however, lack some pieces to the championship puzzle, and Denver knew it and capitalized on it. We seriously lacked good big men. It’s just Bam and Kevin Love that are our experienced frontcourt. Zeller got some action, but he still should go. Yurt needed some playoff minutes, and so was Jovic. We need a center, more decent than Zeller. Also, Jimmy needed a co-star backcourt. Tyler Herro is a very good player, but he’s exposed on defense and can’t manage defending either. With the rumors of Dame leaving the Blazers, we can get Dame and partner him with Jimmy. We don’t want Bradley Beal.

Y’all. Just imagine Dame and Himmy. And Bam getting a center co-star. Man, that’s gonna be an easy chip.

about what you said for the 7th seed, i have a theory about it
the heat dropped the first play in game so they could beat the celtics in the conf finals instead of the first round

    • Di on

      June 16, 2023 at 10:14 pm

Lol, theory is a bit of a stretch. For me, I think the Heat just did not have the sense of urgency when they played the Hawks. I mean, it’s just the Hawks and they are twice to beat in the play-in and that prolly carried on to next game until they realize that the Bulls might actually end their season late in the 4th.

Shocking that the heat pushed all the way to the finals. A #8 team vs. a #1 team! 😂

Although our guys didn’t get the job done in the Finals. I’m always and forever a diehard Heat fan. I love the energy and commitment our guys have shown to make the NBA Finals. I just hope they can reflect on it and come back next season stronger

How do you not include Caleb Martin’s shot and “in yo face” celly over Giannis? Or even the steal and dunk in that next possession? Smh

It’s sad to me they are in a winning culture environment… They are the Eastern champions, a true champions breed… These Nuggets are magnificent, but the Heats were unbelievably strong and Solid… I’m confident, without play in and with a younger Kevin Love type of player they can do an even better matchup… These two team are the reference for the future of the NBA, i hope

Say what you want about the Finals but this was still one of the greatest and most memorable runs of all time by Jimmy and the Heat. Beat the Bucks and Celtics to become the kings of the East
