Tim from the basement exactly my thoughts. Let’s to back to Miami, go on a home stand, win them all, and then learn to win a fucking road game.

Buddah Theepoet God Bless Meyers, but he doesn’t crash the boards enough, and his defense around the paint could be better also.

      February 13, 2020 at 4:53 pm

@Darryl Wallace honestly not many bigs crash the boards we have guards that get more.
You really can’t name more than ten that get ten.
Plus he doesn’t get the mins Bam gets.
Our rotation is deep everybody gets clock. He still coulda been a body because Gobert towers everybody.

@Buddah Theepoet Those are great points, but there’s been times when too many games were decided on the glass and around the paint and because opposing teams know that’s a weakness of Miami’s, those are the two areas teams rely on to carry them over the hump against the Heat.

Take the game against Utah, Why on earth would you go small against Gobert? Gobert imo is overrated, but like you just said…he towers over half the guys on Miami’s roster, and having a front court of Bam and Jones Jr is just bad coaching and preparation. It also doesn’t help that Bam and others played as if they were scared.

Its so FRUSTRATING when you are winning going in to halftime, and then you play terrible in the third and fourth quarter, and blow the lead. Like if your the heat, you have to BUILD on the lead. Not blow it. I cant wait till we get Leonard and Herro back so we can be at full force. I also can’t wait till we play at home again, and learn to win these stupid games on the road.

The HEAT just suck at playing in high altitude locations…. They couldn’t beat the Denver Nuggets at home and they tired out here in Salt Lake as well! 😛
