I love Luka but it’s so much better team work when he doesn’t play! 7 players had double digits without him there tonight. I really wish he learned to not ball hog so much especially when he hasn’t been 100% since last year. But lord knows when he’s on shit, he’s get us BUCKETS! Good game 🎉🎉🎉🎉 #MavsNation

The last minute felt similar to a tmac stat but it was with the whole team instead of one person.

Okc guards kyrie like he’s the second coming of Kobe Bryant. Help defenders were shading towards him and he got double teamed and blitzed for the majority of this game.he even got doubled when he brought the ball up a couple times 😂.It was the same thing in the playoffs last season against them, he got doubled and blitzed the whole series.

the pacing without Luka is so great for the Mavs. they need to incorporate this more and have him off-ball

Mavs is up by 8 points with just less than a minute left in the 4th quarter and its their ball possession. How did OKC manage to lose by just 2 points? and they had the chance to win if they made a successful 3 point play

You know you get cooked when you lose and PJ Washington is on the thumbnail

The Mavs beat the best team without Luka… hmmmmm

Look at that. Fat boy, no-defense-playing ball hog sits out and they win. It’s almost as if when everyone pulls their weight on the defensive end they have a chance. Hmm…

People do not understand that no superstar or star in the NBA can be guarded one on one consistently. Even Luka with all his slowness was able to get around healthy Kawhi Leonard. One on one defense is overrated in today’s game. Luka getting beat one on one is no different than everyone else trying to play defense. It’s all about team defense.

Boy SGA almost pulled this 1 off 😮‍💨 gg Mavs but I’m ngl either D. Mitch or SGA is my personal MVP this year. But at the pg position no one is as active and as much as a threat on BOTH ends of the floor

Everyone thougth I was crazy for saying that the Mavs should’ve traded Luka instead of giving him he supermax. I still stand by that. This team’s identity on both sides of the ball completely improves when Luka’s not around.

I liked Evan Mobley a lot coming out of USC. I’d of sent Luka to Detroit, made them take all those bad contracts with Luka, drafted Mobley… imagine how good Brunson, Mobley, and Porzingis would be together. And they’d of had big money left over for a FA.

TRADE LUKA DONCIC FOR A POSSIBLE 2025 1st OVER ALL PICK (COOPER) 😊😊😊

Alright I’ll say it. I like the Mavs (defense, mentality and ball movement on offense) without Luka. Role players will develop faster and we could get a massive haul for a star that will fit better with the team (and most importantly, actually play defense), address our weaknesses (front court depth + another 3) and set us up for the future with picks and the inevitable decline of Kyrie due to aging. Just playing armchair GM for funs.

8:08 giving them chance to catch up… would be nice if they lose if they continue to do that ~whew
