Luka and the Mavericks played composed in under pressure, still wins! Jalen Bronson is one of the reliable player, makes his plays and took it!
Spurs had a nice game! all over, hastle plays though undersize they hauled an offensive rebounds! Mavs is too good for them this game

    • *the spurs play/output never seems to match the talent level.* the spurs shot better than dallas and committed less turnovers and still lost. one of the reasons is because they’re not getting to line. with dejounte’s ball handling, KJ’s slashing ability and lonnie athleticism we should be getting to the line 25-30 times a night….easily. i think it goes back to what is said before. the offense is great, but needs to be a bit more flexible so these guys can do more (which they are obviously capable of). i don’t know…it seems like the offense is preventing the team from maximizing it’s talent level.

    • *bad defensive approach on luka.* every time luka come off that high screen our big men kept back peddling (why?!)….giving luka a clear drive to the basket and into the paint. luka is not fast…at all. i would’ve taken my chances with drew, who has pretty decent lateral movement for a big man, switching onto luka as soon as he (luka) came off the pick. they way the spurs played the pick and roll killed them.

    • *start lonnie walker and thaddeus young…PLEASE.* it’s funny how 3-4 years later we’re still hearing/reading that lonnie hasn’t reached his potential. how can he do that if there really hasn’t been any real commitment to him and he’s been all over the roster. he’s backed up bryn. he’s backed up demar. he’s backed up marco (belinelli). he’s started at SF. he’s started at SG. he’s played the point, he’s played 6th man role. etc. etc. and in all that he still has had some pretty outstanding games…some in big/clutch moments. proof that the potential is there. this year, from what i’ve seen, his defense is better and he’s doing more in other categories. what else does he have to do to be the full-time starter at his natural position (SG)? thad young managed to stuff the stat sheet again. and his defense was solid (2 blks, 2 stls). idk…starting him over mcdermott is a no brainer at point.

    • *leave bryn forbes and mcdermott on the bench…PLEASE* both are specialists…pure shooters. which is great. but there is no need for them to be cutting into the minutes of more talented players…especially when the team is losing (although it’s still very early). two years ago lonnie walker backed up bryn forbes for an entire year. i didn’t understand then. and you can see the same thing starting to materialize now. makes no sense.

    • *bring derrick white off the bench in a 6th man role* derricks is not as crafty as dejounte when he has the ball. but he does a lot of the same things as dejounte in terms of overall play and stats. i understand why everyone says to start them side by side. but the redundancy/overlap in skills is a bit too much. i think the solution is to use derrick’s all around, two-way game to solidify the the second unit (where i think he would eventually win 6th man of year award…for sure).

    • *the rotations should be..* STARTERS: dejounte (PG), lonnie (SG), keldon (SF), thaddeus (PF), jakob (C). RESERVES: tre (PG), derrick (SG) devin (SF) keita (PF), drew (C).

Boban looked unstoppable. Doesn’t look like the Spurs have the length to defend him.

Lonnie should be the one who have a breakout season this year. But, he is outshine by Devin. Vasell’s game is even better than Walker.
