As a Mavs fan who’s favorite player is Luka Doncic, it’s awful what I’ve seen happen to the Mavericks fans and franchise since they just announced Luka has been traded away. From NBA finals to a complete meltdown. You can see the effects on the Mavs players here after losing their leader

The mentality defense wins championships is true, but Nico Harrisons doesn’t seem to get that a good offense helps give you a good defense. So many of these Cavs buckets came in transition, and when you score, it gives you time to get back and set your defense.
I think the Mavs when healthy will be a pretty solid team, but don’t have enough offensive firepower to get there. No true facilitator on this team anymore
