    Nice finish!

Coming into their third tournament game and first in Brooklyn, the Nets were looking to continue building momentum especially after learning Ben Simmons would still be out for a while due to a nerve impingement.

Brooklyn got out to a huge lead with Spencer Dinwiddie Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson all contributing.

But in the second quarter the Magic bounced back to take a lead.

But in that third quarter Cam Johnson exploded and helped Brooklyn come back into the game and finished with a solid 20 points while Bridges had another important 20+ points performance….

Then in the fourth quarter Spencer Dinwiddie who had a masterclass performance made some insane three point shots and kept attacking the rim all night to finish with a solid 29 points 🔥…

Overall a solid team win for a tough gritty Brooklyn squad building their identity and now onto the next game. Let’s go 😎….

Nic Claxton getting into foul trouble was very unnecessary and tough to start the game.

But Dayron Sharpe who’s finally starting to find some consistency had another amazing performance and had a solid 10 rebounds and 11 points 🔥….

But Claxton really closed out the fourth strong and bounced back even with the foul trouble….

Cam Johnson though had his best game since he’s come back and that third quarter burst was amazing to see Johnson knocking down these point buckets, getting defensive steals and taking it to the rim 🔥🔥🔥…

Johnson is so important to this team on both sides of the floor….

Dennis Smith Jr may not be everyone’s favorite player and missed some buckets tonight he kept playing and whether it was causing a defensive turnover, throwing some important assist lobs to Nic Claxton or making an important bucket to close the third quarter Dennis has been contributing for this team…

Especially without Ben Simmons for a unspecified period of time Dennis provides the defensive intangibles and has been a backup playmaker of sorts as well…

Really hope bridges can get back to the offensive level he was at last season… that said dinwiddie proved he can be the main guy on offense with no cam, royce oneale is the greatest player of all time 🙏🙏

He is the same player he’s just the number one option now so he at the top of teams scouting report its easier for Spencer to score when he’s aggressive

      November 14, 2023 at 11:03 pm

@Kiemore Lathan no def not, you dont watch the games… bridges has seen drmatic offensive struggle compared to last season mostly because he has no bag and teams adjusted to his playstyle, bad shot selection and bad efficiency especially from 3

Should the Brooklyn Nets kill 5 of their
players to trigger a disaster draft to
      improve their roster?
The NBA disaster draft is a contingency plan to be used
when 5 or more players on a team have died or have
been dismembered. In the draft, the team whose players
died will be able to draft the amount of players from
other teams equivalent to how many they had lost. Other
teams though are only allowed to protect 5 players from
being drafted, but many teams have good sixth men
that are available. With the Nets having bad contracts
on underperforming such as Ben Simmons, but they
could also just kill 2-way players and bench warmers
to fill out those 5 kills to get the disaster draft. Also,
according to Bill Simmons, the team would also get the
first pick in next year’s draft. Now this next draft class
is weak so I could understand their hesitancy, and being
a repeat offender, that is, killing 5 players on your team
on 2 separate occasions could raise some eyebrows,
but this could still greatly improve them. No doubt
killing your players with bad contracts and then killing
your benchwarmers for sixth men would would greatly
improve them and other teams. What do you guys think,
and should any other teams do this and who should they
      kill?

Simmons, DSJ, and a couple picks for LaVine….imagine this lineup with Cam Thomas, LaVine, Bridges, Johnson, and Clax. 🔥

I rather get a package of Andre Drummond and Colby White.

Drummond would be that extra center to add some great depth with Claxton and Sharpe.

Plus Drummond can still provide some good regular season minutes and rebound the ball.

White can add some more three scoring scoring off the bench.

This would help expand Brooklyn’s depth even more…

Dinwiddie had a great game but don’t expect this all the time…for every good game he has there’s a 3-5 game stretch where he’s ass
