Mavs GM is extra stupid. Got short end of the trade and gave Lakers 116 mm discount. Could have done a sign and trade to keep Lakers in the luxury tax. He could have traded Luka to Nuggets for AG and KCP or Murray and 3 first rounders and a sign and trade to keep Nuggets hamstrung.

Mavs/Kings fan here and I have hated the Lakers my entire life. I hope they rack up championships with Luka and JJ after how Luka was treated. Does Nico work for the Lakers or something? What a psychopath. Absolutely insane and disgusting treatment. I feel bad for the Mavs team/family they deserve better. Kyrie especially. Would love to be excited about AD but can’t, and now they’re gonna trade Gafford for Vucevic. A great player but a 35? Year old player for a 24 yo. They’re clearly nuking the team and need to be investigated.

@@devinmills7757 Exactly the point. So, believe there was much, much thought to this trade. If Luka is healthy and can stay so I give the best of the trade to the Lakers. Cause with LeBron, Luka, Reeves all they need is a McGhee type or even Brook Lopez, then through in the Hachimora or whatever his name is and that is gonna be dynamite, even more if they can get Turner. I don’t know. But for a last thought I never would have gotten rid of DeAngelo because though his defense sucks he is a killer from three and can score. Something like Lou Williams could just come in and score while the starters are getting a blow.
