If he had 14 points, 14 assist, and 10 rebounds with a win, those stats would be even better. It would mean he made his teammates better. As a big Luka fan, I wonder can he make his teammates better? Porzingis is a borderline all star. There is no reason he does not average 20 points in this series. The ball movement is not there. As he continue to lose series, he will realize how important that is in the next level of playoff wins.

He was playing 1 on 1 the entire game I remember when I was his age I used to play 1 0n 1 but when I turned 30 is when I realized that is not 1 player is 5 player you need to win i was his young age , he wants to be the leader but 1 0n 1 game is not ganna take him nowhere.

He just play like a football player, go in Europe, Brazil or Argentina and see who are the best players : Messi, Maradonna, Ronaldo nazario, Neymar Jr, ronaldinho, Pele, Zidane, Iniesta, Ozil ect ect ..
These players are all under 6ft, their most powerful muscle is their brain, just like Doncic. They have insane reflex, anticipation skills, spacial awarness, creativity, coordination, vision, décision making and composure.
Basketball and football are very similar, its a team sport played with a ball and the goal is to score with that ball, so it’s like a chess game, and football players understood that since a longtime ago, since Pele i think in the late 50´s, he was 5ft8 but more skilled than anyone on the field, he was what we call a genius, and so here in Europe or South america or even Africa, we arent impressed by athletic ability, because in football, you can be Usain Bolt (Bolt actually tried to play pro football but he couldn’t even in a low level Australian league), the fastest human ever who is also 6ft5 but if you have no skills you just can’t play.
Adama Traore is the most athletic football player ever, he was so athletic that NFL teams wanted him, and the guy look like a quarterback, he is the fastest and most explosive ever but an average player at best, because he is very limited in skills and football IQ.
So i think Doncic had the advantage to grew up watching these players and play football in his childhood so he developed all the things i said like quick reflex, anticipation, spacial awarness, creativity, coordination, vision, decision making and composure …
Some players in NBA also have average athleticism compared to Lebron or Giannis, like Curry, Harden, Kyrie ect, they dominate because of their skills, it’s a new era of basketball, were people understand skills—> athleticism, thats why even big men must be able to shoot or at least have decent handles and passing skills, look at AD, Giannis, Jokic, Embbid, KAT, they are all very skilled compared to someone like Shaq, and thats why Shaq is a terrible analyst, he was a great bball player just because GOD gave him the most powerful body ever, but he has 0 bball IQ, he doesnt understand the game … So like i said its a new era, bball is becoming like football and now you see guys like Curry being 2x MVP and being in the conversation for top 10 players of all time, before that the players were Lebron, MJ, KAJ, Magic, Shaq, Bird, Bill Russel, Wilt, Kobe and KD, or something like that, the average height of the top 10 is like 6ft10 … But i think we will see more and more players like Curry, Harden, Doncic, Ja Morant, Trae young, booker who czn dominate the game without athecism.
