    That’s an unbelievable record,I give him that..But that doesn’t mean he’s warranted to be th the GOAT..MJ is and ALWAYS be the GOAT

      @Dominic Suyo
      The fact that you bring up Jordan and also the GOAT debate pretty much tells us you don’t even believe Jordan is the GOAT at this point. Why can’t we praise LeBron on the day he’s going to break a record instead of undermining him? They do that all the time in the basketball media.

      While we’re on the GOAT topic, Jordan is one of the only GOAT candidates to never impact his teams win column when on a mediocre squad. For this reason, Jordan’s not the GOAT. LeBron has a better GOAT case, especially when taking into consideration that LeBron has the most total points scored on NBA wooden floor (All-Star games/regular season games/playoff games) while being top 4 in total regular season assists. And to say that someone will “ALWAYS” be the GOAT is straight up delusional.

    Crazy to think it has been almost been broken that record, also considering that lebron has played in the modern NBA where the 3 point shot is king, he still has managed to get this close without being a real 3 point shooter

    Just think if Kareem and Wilt had started playing in the NBA right out of high school.

      @Bob
      They would’ve both probably hit 40k total regular season points. That’s amazing but with the news coming out that LeBron wants to play another 4 years? At that point in time, LeBron would be close to 45k regular season points than 40k.

    I remember the headlines when he was in high school and even how they have slain the number one ranked team in HS.
    From his first jumper on she right hand side against the Kings, to the eventual number one in the scoring list, he is in a serious case of being the goat.
    Haters gon hate.
    People say he played on a soft era, etc.
    Like him or hate him, he is gon be the only player who’ll reach the 40k summit. And that record will stand all time.
