damn, whats good with luka’s slow lateral movement on defense, he needs lateral movement training, he needs to become a terrific perimeter defender, or he will never be good, he has to become like steph curry on defense who is the best defensive pg in the league, he even locked down kevin durant in game 5 of the 2016 wcf and blocked his shot, thats what level luka is supposed to be on

I think it was good D. He knows that Lamelo won’t go for the layup in the middle since their defensive scheme has the big near the hoop which is why he is leaning the opposite side (left side) of the court. I think he could play better D if he anticipated the pass behind him but great offense will always beat great defense anyday.
