Perk wasn’t a qualified player and isn’t a qualified analyst. NBA on ESPN employing such a low level unprofessional guy as its major analyst tells us that this is not a high qualified program.

Phil already had 9 rings by the time he could ask for a big payout, what does Dan Hurley have? The Lakers have made a significant offer, I respect Hurley’s decision but he’s a nobody in the NBA why would Lakers pay him like top 5 coaches in the NBA? Makes no sense Windy

Dear people that complain about ESPN talking about the Lakers. The fact you comment and interact on the videos comment section just fuels up ESPN since for them you’re ‘engaged’ and is all a numbers game and an algorithm thing, so, despite your opinion being valuable (to you mostly cause no one really care, sad but true, same with mine), you’re giving ESPN what they want. The 2 or 3 guys that back you up and agree with you in the comment section are not nearly enough to keep ESPN from talking about LAL. So instead, although it might sound disrespectful, keep your mouth shut, and keep moving along to another video so that way maybe, they will stop or, at the very least, you won’t be seeing the videos and being annoyed by them. Enjoy fam!

I’m pretty sure Molly brought up the taxes explanation first. SAS in the beginning was eluding to Hurley making a mistake. Now he’s hijacked Mollys take as his own. Hence the show name “First Take” At least credit Molly.

Sounds like he wanted a bigger number and why wouldn’t he? The Lakers wanted to give him entry level pay, I mean he’d still be a first time NBA head coach! But why do all these pundits saying he’s the best? The NBA is not College!! He’s won in college, who to say he’d get the full respect of the players and the team, is that Lakers’ team fully manageable by a college coach? This coach had full control of all the college guys he’s currently coaching, coming to the NBA, different.

No Perk wrong again. The right coach will do it for the challenge and not primarily for money. Hurley wanted to remain a big fish in a small pond, we respect that. Darvin Ham deserved to get fired and I would fire him again. You cannot lose to Denver the ways in which the Lakers did, and the coach gets to remain.

He had no intentions of leaving UConn he listened laughed at there offer which was a low ball offer. Lakers come away looking embarrassed 😅😅
