Lebron did his thing 4 rings brought home the chip for kobe but when y’all start talking statue as a die hard lakers fan I have to disagree with that one. I’ll take the rings tho but statue going to far. One in Cleveland for sure no doubt but in L.A naa.

      October 12, 2020 at 1:37 pm

As a die hard Lakers fan and Kobe fan. You are absolutely right and I will not put him in the category of Lakers greats until he can deliver 2 more rings. Then we can have a conversation about a statue. Until then I am not buying into the statue nonsense. I’m barely accepting him as a Laker.

no to the statue, but at this point i think he earned his jersey retirement at the very least

      @Gabriel Avena no

I think they should do it for the sake of reviving the franchise or at least get his jersey retired.

    LeBron the Goat, wake up

Stephen A’s statue would have its little finger held sheepishly to its lips, forever admitting to all his wrongs.

Lebron officially became a laker last night if he wins one more championship as a laker he’ll go down as a top 5 laker

    • Edwin Hernandez

      October 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm

@ADMAFIA210 bronsexuals so cummed up they have no clue who the Lakers greats are. He’s going to need 3 before we even have this conversation. At his age I don’t see that happening.

Lol He’d be the undisputed GOAT if he could pull that off.

Lebron will never be accepted in Lakers nation. He wants respect he needs to win it on his own with his own team and not with a stacked team. That’s when Lakers nation will accept him. Every championship he’s won he had a stacked team MJ still the goat so stop trying. You lost more chips with a stacked team then won, enough said

    October 12, 2020 at 1:07 pm

These people who didn’t accept LeBron as a Laker aren’t true members of Laker Nation and don’t deserve to celebrate no. 17 with us. If you ain’t with us at the start, don’t hop onto the bandwagon and act like you was there since day 1

This is LA being a star doesn’t make you special here at least not to born and bred Angelinos you have to earn it especially when it comes to the Lakers we’ve had great players but youre probably not repping a Karl Malone or Rodman jersey

    • David16ethans

      October 13, 2020 at 2:49 pm

@Roberto Espinoza I get that, but we’re talking about accepting players when they join the team, regardless of whether they’re good or bad. No matter how much I dislike a player, if he were to join the team, I’d accept and support him no matter what. Unfortunately, some fans or so called ‘Lakers fans’ did not show support for LeBron when he joined and it’s evident, from the murals to the Lakers’ social media account. Always stick to your players till the end, no matter if we win or lose

Calm down, acting like it was only lebron and the lakers going through 2020

  14. Edwin Hernandez

    October 12, 2020 at 1:44 pm

No statue, stop the nonsense. To get a statue you have to be a Laker great. He needs 3 rings before we have this conversation.

He got accepted now that he won.

Mark Cuban retired Kobe’s Jersey number and Kobe did not play a single game for the Mav. The great men recognize the great men and SAS is just a clown. Lakers will retire Lebron’s Jersey at the end of his career.

The elegant Jeanie Buss is a woman of taste, knows how to appreciate great Lakers player.

    October 12, 2020 at 3:00 pm

if kobe got a player like AD that want play under him (not shaq) he could have done better than labummy. lakers fans will accept anything if they win so they rather accept AD! lmao.

Lebron lives rent free in your head

  23. lobby of sprites

This championship is equal to 2 or 3 of the Warriors super teams. With kobe death, pandemic, Lakers out of competition for so many years

  24. David Knowles

    October 13, 2020 at 9:10 am

    For a statue
10 years minimum with your franchise with 3 Chips & 3 Finals MVP minimum.
Statues are for greatness with your FRANCHISE.

This is why I get annoyed when people toss aside Jordan as the Goat because:
Bulls were a laughing stock before Jordan
Bulls have won 6 with Jordan
Bulls have won 0 post Jordan
Jordan X6 Finals MVP, X2 3peats (3peat while dealing with his Fathers death, other 3peat post Baseball and out of Basketball for 18 months)

Kwahi Leonard will (most likely) get his number retired and a statue in Toronto and he was only there for one season!
