Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, Tim Duncan headline the 2020 Basketball Hall of Fame nominees | The Jump

Rachel Nichols, Kendrick Perkins and Scottie Pippen reveal the most notable nominees for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2020, which includes former Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks wing Shawn Marion, former Toronto Raptors and Miami Heat big man Chris Bosh, former Minnesota Timberwovles and Boston Celtics big man Kevin Garnett, former San Antonio Spurs big man Tim Duncan, and former Los Angeles Lakers wing Kobe Bryant. They then reveal the notable first-time women’s nominees, including former Detroit Shock star Swin Cash, and former Indiana Fever WNBA Finals MVP Tamika Catchings.

    I’ve never understood why the All-Nba teams aren’t more prominently pushed compared to all-star appearances, particularly first teams. It’s far more impressive to be on an all-nba first team. It means you’re the best player the year in your position.
