All the talk about a “dynasty” was just fluff. I say this heavily. The Nugget’s front office keeps taking the cheap route. I appreciate that we try to develop our players, but also we have to admit, MPJ gets sparked less often than he needs to, Jamal is going to battle injuries the rest of his career, and we have no depth.

Nuggets low key been the bucks in the west this season, hopefully they get it together playoff time , winning it all again will be even tougher this year for them

To me, they don’t seem like they have the same energy as last season. Very beatable at times. Kings are 3-0 with one game left this season over Denver and 4-2 over Denver since last season. The Buck just completely blew the Nuggets off the court a few days ago.

I hate the commentators subonis dunked on joker commentators “and he puts it in” Denver hits a open 3 “ OH MY GOODNESS HES SO GOOD”

Denver is my team, Jokic is my guy, I love his offensive game, one of a kind…. But, this defense against the Kings was disgusting…and it starts with Jokic. But, it was like that last year, and they started playing defense in the playoffs. Hopefully it’s gonna be the same this year.

Very intriguing how many of the NBA’s top teams match up badly against certain teams. The Nuggets somehow always struggle against the Kings. Reminds me of the 2007 first round Mavs-Warriors matchup where the Mavs were the 1st seed but lost cuz the Warriors just neutralized them so well.

They struggle a bit with up-tempo teams, especially not in Denver and teams that shoot well. Sabonis is quicker and can battle physically with Jokic.

Sabonis showed more than once this year that defeating Joker is not that hard. In Hakeems, Robinsons, Duncans, Mutombos, Alonzos, Ewings and Shaqs times Djoker would have been a mediocre center

      February 15, 2024 at 8:45 pm

You bring up Sabonis but yet you’re not familiar with his dad. Arvydas Sabonis played during that era and was not a great defender like Jokic & was heavily compared to him a while back and Sabonis Sr wasn’t the best defender but he was good enough to play 15 seasons. You’re just a causal and lack basketball knowledge and IQ. You don’t think Jokic is carving those guys up? you’re a clown

Coming from a non Kings fan… The Sabonis and Fox disrespect is real! Sabonis gets triple doubles no one cares. Jokic does it and he’s the best in the world. Fourth Quarter Fox is still very much a thing!

Nuggets get beat twice in a row by Kings. Denver Jokic and Murray are so focused on beating the Lakers that they forget about this young hungry Sacramento team. I watched Denver spend so much energy beating LA that they didn’t have anything left for Kings. The Kings ran them off the court. Lakers are not the team to worry about but it’s Sacramento, OKC, Clippers, and Grizzlies.
