The 76ers defeated the Kings, 117-104 tonight in Philadelphia. Tyrese Maxey contributed a team-high 30 points to go with 8 assists and 4 rebounds, with Kelly Oubre Jr. of the 76ers adding an additional 15 points (6-12 FG, 1-2 3P) and 6 rebounds. Malik Monk finished with a team-high 21 points along with 8 assist, and Domantas Sabonis finished with 13 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for his third straight triple-double for the Kings in the losing effort. The 76ers improve their record to 19-27 with the win, while the Kings fall to 24-23 for the season. The 76ers’ next game is Friday, 1/31/2025, against the Nuggets on the road (7:30 PM ET, ESPN), while the Kings continue their road trip on Saturday, 2/1/2025, when they face the Thunder (8:00 PM ET, FDSNOK/KWTV/NBCSCA).

      Basically, they aren’t talented enough with all their guys hurt. Nick nurse had the magic equalizer all this time. He played zone as a rule in Toronto, not sure why he let them lose this many games before going back to it. They’ll be good enough to tread water at the least till guys get back
