This is why I was saying a healthy nets team would have swept the bucks or beat them in 5. Not because the nets have 3 superstars but because of the inconsistent play of the bucks second options. The bucks have been playing terrible in these playoffs aside from giannis.

@Flex adventure he is shooting the 3 ball inconsistent but scores from 2, rebounds and assists consistently….The issue is people comparing #2’s to 1b players( AD, Harden, Kyrie, Steph the warriors last two rings)….there is a significant difference. Middleton is a #2. His numbers are better than: Paul pierce when Celtics won a ring, Ginobili/ parker ring years and on par with Dwayne Wade 2nd ring and better than his 3rd. BUT narratives will be narratives in this new social media NBA

@mrhoopfan The issue here is that he has the potential to be great which he has been at times but hes inconsistent. The issue here is that more often than not he fails to step up when needed. No one is comparing him to steph or harden. It’s that when you see someone drop 38 points and then drop 16 against an injured team your thought process is how the fuck can he be so good then so trash. He’s held to higher standards than most 2nd options because he plays like a first option literally every other game.

@Flex adventure 23, 8 and 5 out of your #2 option. Makes game winner in Game 7 vs Heat along with 5 steals and game 6 down 3-2, he drops 38. He is very good not great vut has outplayed the #2 guy on opponents team in each playoff series

The way Milwaukee wins this series is by khris Middleton playing like he did game 3 the rest of the way consistently and Jrue Holiday is gonna have to play alot better. They can still win this series even without Giannis but they’re gonna have to play like that if they’re gonna advance

nba media and “fans” expect too much out of #2 guy. All time great #2’s Parker, ginobili, Scottie, Klay always averaged between 15-22 in playoffs, shooting % in low 40s. But now we expect guys like Middleton to average 25 shooting 50%…makes no sense. It comes down to TEAM

It’s called stepping the fuck up and if ur gonna start somewhere then ur second option has to atleast play good. Clippers is a perfect example of stepping up in the absence of ur best player. Reggie Jackson and Paul george are the catalysts of the clippers. Of course ur gonna need like 10 plus points from some other guys but it can’t be ur second best player scoring fucking 15. The problem with Khris Middleton and Jrue is that they have the potential to win this series by themselves but they are Hella inconsistent. Middleton will literally give u 40 one game and then 15 the next.
