He did in his earlier days when he was the centre. Playing power forward changed his roles and how he affected other teams offensively. Defence is a different conversation.

He dragged his pivot foot… Players don’t get away with dragging their pivot foot anymore than they have since the 80s. Go watch games from back then and see how many times they dragged their pivot foot without a travel being called. He also got fouled with no call despite people like you claiming that today’s players can’t get away with any contact. The NBA is still great.
