You can not like him but hating on him is weak. He’s a top 10 player that got drafted into a franchise that wasn’t tryna win. Yes he had jimmy and harden but for 1 year each then the team was flipped. Never had continuity outside tobi and Ben who both made 80 mil a year. No one winning under those circumstances. Even if he balled out. Which he couldn’t when harden and tobi don’t make 3s n Joel gets tripled.

For years dr.’s have told Embid to fall, in order to avoid injury. It’s not a flop, he gets fouled. It’s a skill..

He’s hated because hes a dirty player (more techs than Dray in 1/2 games), he is the worse foul baiting grifter (yup, even worse than Harden) who dives like a soccer player, he constantly chokes and disappears in playoffs where his production plummets, hes the most emo whiner drama queen who cries to media, he throws teammates under the bus regularly (even though hes played with MVP, multiple allstars, all NBA and all defense) and never takes accountability. Its always someone else’s fault. He has zero introspection or self awareness.
People literally hate him for a variety of reasons or all of them.

Joel is definitely the most hated NBA player currently and it ain’t even remotely close. Tatum ain’t even really hated, people just call him corny which i don’t even understand anyways and Brooks is just a troll, everyone knows this.
The problem is Luka, Brunson etc. are foul baiting like crazy as well, but they don’t get nearly as much hate as Embiid. Just because he is bigger than them, doesnt mean the other get a free pass. You people need to keep the same energy
