I normally agree with JJ on almost everything he says, but the fact that these guys HAVE all been injured separately and there’s been a huge lack of next man up mentality when any one of them are gone, is exactly why the window is sealed shut this season.

3 core pieces 11 min entire season… what was meant to be the starting 5 for playoffs 0 minutes together. Yeah this season was awful.

Isn’t this fun second-guessing a 3x Championship, MVP, DPoY core? Is there enough time for Draymond, Klay, Curry, and Kerr to find their groove? Will Dray stop a 3 on 1 break again? Will Curry ever score from backcourt again? Will Klay get a haircut? Stay tuned as we continue to watch the Young and the restless *future* Hall of Famers!

Warriors have been there and done that… 4, 5, 6 seed dosnt matter… when playoffs start? The season begins for the juggernauts. And the warriors are the only proven juggernaut in the west. End of discussion. Im taking the 3 time championship experience of the trio over regular season form and seeding of the other teams every day of the week… this is just pure ‘in the moment’ conversation

Not shut, but it’s closing rapidly. They haven’t all been healthy for long enough this season nor playing well together for a serious playoff push to be likely. But anything can happen. The real problems are more fundamental than just the core 3 though. The roster construction is a little bit of a mess. They banked on a number 2 pick that sadly is far more injury prone and raw in his skills than even they expected. WIggins has been inconsistent and just can’t seem to give them the offensive production you would hope considering his contract. While it can be argued that they didn’t give him the contract (true). The impact that has on their cap situation and how much is then left over for other players is undeniable. If they want to extend Poole and make sure they can keep hold of Kuminga and or Wiseman then Wiggins has to be traded for at least more manageable contracts.

The most fundamental problem of all though is Kerr’s motion offense. It’s great when it works but the whole league has had years to adapt to it and now it’s clear that even the younger players and veteran role players are often completely lost about what to do when it falls apart.

Finally Klay is hurting the team bad. He’s in his head far too much chucking up stupidly difficult shots left and right. Sure 1 in 10 games he’s goes off like the Klay of old but really he needs to be benched and brought back along more slowly.
