Maybe YOU won’t care. They, their fanbase, their families and friends, and their coaching staff will definitely care. Also, if the Celtics win and people still clown Tatum, what does that do to him? They’ll have jokes, but he’ll have a ring, and those jokes won’t do anything about THAT.

Losing to the Mavs, who are arguably a better team, is a pretty good excuse, is it not? Also, losing this Finals series does not mean that they will never win it. The present does not always determine the future.
