I think Tatum deserves it with the game 3 and 5 he made

Tatum was shook a bit but either could have won but Jalen really played clutch basketball, he scored when they really needed it. Tatum is just as good but he was a bit quieter and inconsistent when it got close.

A while later into the Trophy Presentation after the events of the 2024 NBA Finals…
Mike Breen: A shocking ending for Jayson Tatum and the Boston Celtics who lose their last 2 games, 1 in the Cryptic Arena and now, 1 here in the TD Garden as they fail to mount a comeback and bring Championship #18 back to Boston, coming up short in a decisive Game 5 against the Empress Madame Ninja Barrett led Los Angeles Clippers. Let’s get this ceremony started right now at the TD Garden and nobody wants to leave. We go to P.A. announcer, Eddie Palladino.
Eddie Palladino: Fans, please turn your attention to the center of the court for the presentation of the Larry O’Brien trophy and the MVP and Curse Breaker MVP trophies. Please welcome ABC’s Lisa Salters.
Lisa Salters: Thank you. Joined by Los Angeles Clippers owner, Steve Ballmer, Lawrence Frank and Head Coach, Tyronn Lue and the General Manager, Trent Redden and here to present the Larry O’Brien trophy is NBA Commissioner, Adam Silver.
Adam Silver: Thank you, Lisa. To the Los Angeles Clippers, congratulations. The first championship in franchise history. To Steve, Lawrence and where’s Trent? Congratulations on assembling an incredible team. And where is Coach Lue? Congratulations. You did it. And to the fans, thank you very much. Without you, we would not be here and now it is my honor to present to the Los Angeles Clippers, the 2024 Larry O’Brien trophy. (presents the trophy to the Los Angeles Clippers.)
Lisa: Steve, expectations for this team were so high all season long and how were they able to every time rise to the moment?
Steve Ballmer: Lisa, the brilliance of Tyronn Lue is that he would not let expectations get in the way. Tyronn Lue said that there is no expectations. You have to win or die trying. Tyronn set a plan and he kept everybody focused and these guys played great team basketball and team basketball and it is not about expectations, but it is about getting it done. 1st banner!
Lisa: You have been close for the last few years, but decided this off-season to make some major changes. How did you and Trent Redden know that staying the course wasn’t going to be good enough?
Steve: Well, we all watched team in the last few years and great, great teams, but not quite there. And Trent was brilliant. He knew that we needed to make changes and we knew that we wanted to make change and Trent got it done. He brought in Empress Barrett. He brought in P.J. Tucker and here we are.
Lisa: Congratulations and we will talk to your Head Coach. Tyronn, what makes this group so special?
Tyronn Lue: First of all, obviously, for us, for me, our faith is the most important thing. And number one, we have the best fans in the world. The best fans. There’s nothing better than representing the Clippers and being part of history and taking on the ownership and responsibility and these guys right here. They are the most important people and the players and the families and everything they do and we are nothing without them.
Lisa: And again, the high expectations all season long and how did you tell them that the expectations could be a strength and not anything else?
Tyronn: Well, you have few chances to carry on the ownership and the responsibility of what this banner is and all of the great people and the great players who came here and when you have few chances in life, you have to take the bull by the horn and own it. And our players owned it.
Lisa: Congratulations, Tyronn. And now, the presentation of the 2024 Bill Russell MVP and Curse Breaker MVP awards, again, Commissioner Silver.
Adam: Bill Russell would be so proud that the 2024 Bill Russell Finals MVP is going to Kawhi Leonard. (gives him the Finals MVP.) Now, for the Curse Breaker MVP. Alright. Quite frankly, I don’t know too many individuals that can say they’ve won 9 consecutive NBA Championships in 9 straight NBA Finals appearances. The 2024 Curse Breaker MVP is going to my dear friend, Empress Madame Ninja Barrett. (shakes her hand, embraces her and awards her the 2024 Curse Breaker MVP award.)
Empress Madame Ninja Barrett: (takes the 2024 Curse Breaker MVP award from her dear friend, the NBA Commissioner wearing the black metallic General Manager’s outfit, the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship around her shoulder, the black metallic TNA General’s coat and hat, the Constable of SmackDown medal around her neck with the red heart locket, the Snake Amulet and the Lone Wolf amulet pendant also around her neck, the full body armor set based off of the Bane of Darkness Spirit, Galeem, which was fused with the light of Ultra Necrozma, Ashrah and Fused Zamasu and the black metallic hitman’s outfit.)
Lisa: Kawhi, what does holding the trophy mean to you?
Kawhi Leonard: It was a full team effort and I share it with my brothers and my partner in crime, Empress Barrett who was with me the whole way.
Lisa: You said that what has been different about your game this season is that you liked all of the anxieties and all of the doubts and first of all, you are a superstar and so, nobody knew that you had anxieties or doubts, but how were you able to do that to unlock your game as you put it?
Kawhi: My faith in the most high and my teammates abd the coaching staff and I have been grateful for every opportunity and I have never hung my head and I have… and excuse my language, I am sorry.
Ninja: Well, might as well get into position because I’ve got a feeling I’m next. (approaches the microphone with the 2024 Curse Breaker MVP award.

Stopped to pray and thank his Heavenly Father. To God be the glory, great things he has done.
