How could the number of championships be anything less than a franchise record????

The Timberwolves also have a franchise record number of championships… 0.

This was corny my boy , how can they have a franchise record of 0 …if they started with 0…. Also there are 10 teams in total with 0 championships…….

@@etx_jay I’m saying “Franchise-Record” is the record for each franchise, so of course the Celtics have set a franchise record. E.g. KG has the Franchise-Record for points for the TWolves. As another example, in 2023 the Nuggets won their “Franchise-Record” 1st championship.

I’m being really lame about this though, ur right.

No, you’re right, it doesn’t really make sense to include that. Lol. We always try to emphasize everything so much and sometimes it ends up being excessive and silly.

0:18 He got away with a travel there, but I think his right foot collided with Green’s. The reaction to that alley-oop from Tatum to Brown was funny. “AY–oh, wait, what the–okay, he scored. AY!” 😅

Wow amazing performance by Boston Celtics and the whole team that has sacrificed so much for their team and their teammates they totally deserved this win by the way they played this game and this game one . If they keep playing like they played this series and elevating their game to adjust to their opponents they will definitely won the Trophy championship this year. And it definitely starts with winning the second round of this series Amazing and good job by the whole Celtics on the defense end and the offense end of the floor. This is what the Celtics is supposed to do if they want to keep advancing to the third and fourth when the NBA championship which they won this year including beating who is awaiting them in the later rounds. This was a great night for the following players and the whole team. Jayson Tatum who scored 31 points and 9 rebounds and 11 assists Derrick White with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Jaylen Brown 21 points with eight rebounds. Derrick White with 14 points. Holiday with 15 points and 11 rebounds . Al Holford with nine points in and nine assists They deserved the win on both ends of the floor tonight .

I can’t believe some Celtics fans are still arguing that he didn’t deserve the FMVP award. This is why people think y’all are the most toxic fans in the NBA

    • @nocturne311

      June 18, 2024 at 3:12 am

Those aren’t true Celtics fans. True Celtics fans know that the only thing that matters is the big trophy and that in order to win that, everyone on the team has to play their part.

Jaylen sent an autographed jersey of his to my then 11-year-old nephew in UK. He also included his own personal phone number to call him after the jersey was delivered. This was back in early 2021.

Congratulations and thank you from Toronto.

Another season defined by injuries. Another team won the NBA title again because they were the healthiest team in the NBA, not because they were the best team in the NBA. I don’t care if they had the best record in the regular season. Yes, they had the best record in the regular season, but that’s in the regular season, doesn’t matter in the playoff. In the playoff, regular season records erase, and the Boston Celtics been having the best record in the league since 2017 when Isaias Thomas was there in Boston, and they always chokes in the playoff against top teams in the East or in the finals. And this would’ve happened again this year in 2024 if Giannis and Demian Lillard were healthy, or even if Jimmy Butler, K-Love, Terry Rozier, Josh Richardson, and Thomas Bryant were healthy in Miami Heat. Or if Donovan Mitchell, Jarrett Allen, or Caris Lebert were healthy in Cavs. Or if Tyrese Haliburton or Benedict Mathurin were healthy too. The Celtics would’ve lost to all of those teams if their best players and stars weren’t injured. I know it’s not the Celtics fault that they had a Mickey Mouse Hospital run for a title and win a hospital championship, but it doesn’t change the fact that they still won a meaningless title and it won’t count as a real title. It’s not legitimate and it’s not a real 18th banner. Lakers still the greatest franchise of all time, and I want everyone to keep that in mind. Lakers will always be the top team in the NBA, the face franchise of the NBA, period.

    • @nocturne311

      June 18, 2024 at 3:13 am

If, if, if. 18 > 17. Just hope that your pathetic franchise can find a coach. Phil Jackson isn’t walking through that door. It’s going to be a long rebuild.

I don’t know how you Celtics fans could celebrate a hollow title that doesn’t count. It’s not legitimate, like the Celtics beat every team in the playoffs that they faced injured without their best players and stars. How could you all waste your time celebrating your favorite team winning a fake title that will never be respected by NBA fans? Nobody besides toxic Celtics fans respects that title. This is the worst title of all time that we have seen. What we’re seeing right now is the most embarrassing and most obviously scripted and rigged title that we have seen. The Lakers’ in-season tournament 18th banner counts more than the Celtics’ 18th banner. It’s more legitimate and harder because the Lakers beat every team healthy, and the rules of the new in-season tournament were more competitive and harder than the classic NBA playoffs. So, the Lakers had the 18th banner first rather than the Celtics. Also, the Lakers’ 18th banner is more legitimate and respectable to NBA fans. And I am speaking for everyone, not just for myself. The Celtics have not surpassed the Lakers in the most titles of all time yet. This title does not count, and it is not more valuable than the Lakers’ 18th banner in-season tournament title. And everyone knows that, even haters; they just do not want to accept it because it hurts their feelings. Also, just remember, everyone who is reading this, just know that the Lakers will always be the greatest franchise in NBA history. The Lakers will always be the greatest franchise of all time. They always run the NBA, and the Celtics will never be on the Lakers’ level, all time. They will never be there. So, celebrate this title, but just remember, nobody will respect it, and it will not count as a legitimate title. Enjoy this fake title if you wish.

Are you sure you don’t want to leave anymore comments? Your team won a rigged title in 2002 and a Disney title in 2020. Lmao. Y’all count rings you won in Minnesota before the shot clock was a thing. 😂😂

It was obvious that the NBA was rigged and scripted for the Boston Celtics to win this year. If you watched the latest Michael Jordan commercial on your TV or on YouTube, you’ll notice that when Tatum appears in Jordan’s commercial, you can clearly see him looking up at an empty banner while sitting on the bench. It was obvious that they were trying to show us the script right in our faces.
