SGA went to Kentucky and played for Calipari. I know he’s Canadian, but he’s not international!!

Blame the NCAA, blame the AAU, blame the parents of student athletes, blame society who have treated athletes like brands instead of a young vessel seeking growth and development

If Jay Williams clowning on national TV… well you put him on TV ESPN. That’s on you. American players are just worse.

American society is cooked at every level in every facet.

This is just how it effects basketball

ESPN = negative spin. Lamenting like it’s the end of the world instead of celebrating the globalization of the game 🏀 and Shai’s achievements.

…even though all of the foreign mvps went through the American Basketball training pipeline.

In order for foreign players to accel in USA Basketball, they have to utilize American training systems.

Don’t act like the two are the same either. You tell that to an NHL fan they’d tackle you

Ppl forget, they train with us. I’m not taking anything away from the jokic, shai etc. Jay gotta relax. We’re still bigger, faster, and more skilled.

Jay Williams has 100% integrity here.

SGA not European and he spent his entire youth in elite prep schools with Olympians as parents. Giannis/Jokic and SGA are not cut from the same cloth. Americans are dumb enough to think everything “International” means these people grew up in Africa on a salt mine somewhere. Look at Luka, he signed with Real Madrid when he was 13, he’s been pampered majority of his life. He ain’t hard. He ain’t Giannis.

The only people who can afford sports these days in North America are rich kids.

Basketball is enjoyed by over 450 million people worldwide, in more than 200 countries, every single day. Why should an American be considered the best at it annually? 😂😂😂
