@@gabepizzaheโs a better 1 on 1 defender but Willams is much more versatile he can guard 1-5 he was playing center earlier this year when chet and IHart got injured and they didnโt miss a step

Indiana is damn good. For them not to get blown out with Haliburton not having even one basket and only 4 points is amazing. I’m not understanding why Carlisle only played McConnell 22 minutes (he had 18 points) but I’m glad he did. We had no answer for him. Incredible game from JDub. This finals is going to be a MASSIVE boost to his confidence going forward.

He will be when he’s able to have great games more consistently. He’s such a great compliment to SGA. SGA is sneakier and more consistent, but J-Dub has power, and today he showed is game from the 3-point line to the rim.

Look at how many of these are fairly easy baskets going to the rim with a head of steam, it wasn’t until the end of the 3rd and 4th where he had to generate offense on his own. Good cutting makes the game a lot easier and too often OKC gets stagnant in the half court with very little off ball action. To me, Shai is so good they have relied on him too much to generate their looks when really they can do so much more.
