If you’re in very good shape it’s relatively hard to stop you once you jump
also less likely to miss compared to a contested layup assuming you’re in good shape and can do it comfortably (depending on the situation)

Dude do you even know the sport if you’re tall or athletic enough it’s wayy easier to score by dunking than a layup unless you’re wide open
