Jacque Vaughn has little time to make a big impression with the Nets | The Jump

Published

on

Rachel Nichols discusses how Jacque Vaughn has a small amount of time as Brooklyn Nets interim head coach to make a big impression for his future. David Fizdale describes his background with Vaughn, calling him one of the greatest basketball minds he’s been around while Amin Elhassan says the two people he needs to impress most, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, can only observe from the bench.

couldn’t agree more. I’m glad the jump is talking about him because from i heard on the other shows, nobody’s giving him a fair chance.

So the east got much tougher compared to last year and he had no DLo, KD, and Kyrie (toxic and/or injured for most games). Yet coach Atkinson without got them to 7th (same as last year) and you fire him or let him leave? Is this like Heats firing Spoelstra when Lebron was complaining?

Nets were playing terrible under Atkinson. They were 2-5 in their last 7 games he coached with losses to teams even worst than them. They were in danger of falling out of the playoffs.

@Richard Philbert but he got them to the 7th. They were just going through a dry spell. Overall, he was having a better season than last year’s. This was a power move by the big 2 for DeAndre to get more playtime the coach felt he didn’t “earn” over Allen.

Go Brooklyn Nets. My Second favourite team. They play in my favourite city New York City. And I hope they will be the 2019-2020 NBA Champions.

I appreciate Rachel, they are actually giving a segment to another team especially my nets. That’s not involved how to get lebron another ring, or kd and kyrie blah blah.
