Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are the first pair of teammates in NBA history to each record 30+ points and 10+ assists in a Finals game

Nikola Jokic (32 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists) and Jamal Murray (34 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists) led the way for the Denver Nuggets as they defeated the Miami Heat in Game 3, 109-94. Jimmy Butler tallied 28 points for the Heat. The Nuggets lead this best-of-seven series, 2-1, with Game 4 taking place on Friday, June 9 (8:30 p.m. ET, ABC).

I thought the Heat had Joker all figured out by çontrolling Jamal and making Joker a scorer, easier said than done😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Figuring out Joker?. Good luck on that!. AD and LeBron thought they had him pretty good figured out with the Lakers’ Rui Hoochiemama MASTER plan, well that one FAILED misserably 0-4😂😂. This is something a lot of people don’t understand. The Denver Nuggets can always find a way to win against the Clippers, even though the Clippers have a lot more physical, taller, and elite defenders. I’m happy for the Miami Heat after all that they’ve accomplished this postseason, but let’s be real, they don’t have enough firepower to match the Nuggets. The Miami Heat team can lockdown a superstar who can score, but not with the likes of Jokic and Murray those two guys can really score plus they can make a play for everyone around them which is the weakness of the Heat the playmaking of the dynamic duos of the Nuggets.

Tyrese Maxey contributed a team-high 29 points to go with 6 assists 3 rebounds and 3 three pointers, with Guerschon Yabusele of the 76ers adding an additional 21 points (6-11 FG, 5-7 3P) and 8 rebounds in the game. Jared Butler finished with a team-high 26 points along with 7 assists for the Wizards in the losing effort. The 76ers improve their record to 15-20 with the win, while the Wizards fall to 6-29 for the season. The 76ers’ next game is Friday, 1/10/2025, against the Pelicans (7:00 PM ET, NBC Sports Philadelphia/GCSEN), while the Wizards continue their road trip on Friday, 1/10/2025, when they face the Bulls (8:00 PM ET, Chicago Sports Network Plus/MNMT2).
