I could give a flying (beep) what Jeff Saturday or anybody else who’s not a Knicks fan thinks about us winning the NBA Cup. Folks trying to downplay it because their team didn’t win. The same people downplaying it were the same ones who said the Knicks would lose, whateva suckas!!!!

People celebrate a fake sport like the WWE, but you can’t celebrate players really trying hard to win a tournament OK. SMH.

When this cup started even Stephen A hated it when Lakers won is they all hated on them and now it is good to see them embracing it! These guys never won anything or maybe never won a NBA championship so this is good for every team to try and win it as I am sure it boost the Knicks and their fan base good motivation and confidence to go for it all in June. The players play hard for it and they should celebrate it. Look at how the Knicks players walked off the court? They had all the winning swag man! Let them celebrate!

Definitely Not worth the hype!!! the mid season championship has nothing to do with who plays in the post season. Yet another way Adam Silver has helped promote mediocrity in the association while David Stern turns over in his grave. Silver tries every way to reinvent the game and all he is doing is perpetuating not fixing the real issue….player effort on both defense and offense and players caring to win…he needs to get those toxic players out the league who hold back the new generation and are a bad influence like LBJ, not to mention LBJ putting hands on a official and nothing from Adam Silver…now any player in the league is free to touch up an official and not get a tech? because if they dont and eject them then what message does that send to hoopers and fans. games garbage leadership is garbage mid mediocre championship is garbage players lack of skill is garbage players not trying to win is garbage and players not giving effort on both defense and offense is garbage and premadona podcast players who never won are garbage…the wnba, ncaa men and womens hoops and football and nfl are all wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better products than the nba…for crying out loud even the MLB is a better product than the nba right now….so yes the mid season cup does not matter!

No 👎🏿🙂‍↔️ it is not 🚫 it’s only worth a couple hundred thousand dollars and everyone playing is already rich. Not to mention it doesn’t even count towards the regular season record add to that you could get hurt playing in a tournament with so little on the line. I think the winner should secure a spot in the playoffs now you’ve got my attention.

any team that wins the cup is good enough to walk into a playoff spot, lol. brave of you to throw up a suggestion, but it’s a bad one.

Ummm the Lakers and Bucks were bounced round 1… Least they got the cup lol😂. Us Knicks fans never learn, last year rejoicing a round 2 victory..

  19. @ericbatdorf3021

    December 17, 2025 at 6:52 pm

Stephen A …it’s not even a series. Lakers and Bucks were evidence of a dam round 1 exit. We are pretending one game do or die is the same as best of 7… Nope!

This is an extra game that don’t count towards the season. This is something that was not needed.

Not feeling this new NBA Cup playoff, it’s a gimmick. The whole concept meaningless.
    Charles Barkley said it’s embarrassing.
Just get to the NBA finals championship 2025-2026

    • @nanaapple8100

      December 17, 2025 at 8:07 pm

yes, let’s fast forward to 6 mo. down the line when games actually matter and have less meaningful games in nov./dec. an oldhead who didn’t experience it in his league said it’s embarassing. it’s because of people like you that tradition is extremely straightforward and devoid of any spice or personal meaning. you don’t have to appreciate it but you can’t deny that the players played harder for it. look at the way the bench guys jordan clarkson and tyler kolek played their best stretch of game time in the 4th quarter. you think they’re doing this on the 16th of dec. for a regular season game?

Its a competition and we won..what should we do? Was it not a competition? Was not every team trying to win? 500k a piece for each player..shii I’d be running naked thru the streets..gtfoh..bad mind

  25. @Mav.Morrison

    December 17, 2025 at 9:13 pm

people like this shouldn’t be on the air. the media bashing the cup is the reason why the fans don’t care about it. people like this is terrible for the sport of basketball
