What a collapse in the last 2 possessions by the Pacers. It was almost a comeback for them. I’m questioning why they didn’t trust Halliburton to be part of the defense since they will need him immediately to run the offense. The result, the Pacers barely got off a shot to beat the shot clock (credit as well to Lakers’ D). Then they basically left the interior open as everyone concentrated on Luka. Luka could’ve lobbed/dropped a pass to either side inside and LBJ or Rui would be wide open to finish the game, which is basically what happened as no one was there to box out LBJ for the tip game winner. Nice shot from LBJ. The Pacers have a long film session ahead of them.

Doncic almost cost them the game by giving up 3 consecutive easy shots including a 3 point play but they held on. The Pacers smelled blood and they circled in on Luka.
