For all those who say trade myles Turner those blocks at the end is why hes on the team and those blocks were critical. I dont care if he scored 0 points. Blocks can change a games outcome

@Robert Overton He let Sabonis rebound a lot it’s not effecting the team too many good rebounders on the squad.

no true point guard to set up the offense. No three-point shooters. No athletic big man or guards. And they expect to win what? Morris a point guard now, SMDH! Yeah, blame the coach. Give him scrubs and rookies and expect what again?

Le Bon Voyage Cafe Here we go again… someone whom listens to mainstream media narratives and sees a couple highlights and believes that qualifies them to formulate an quality opinion. Go regurgitate the same non-sense every other mainstream media outlet does on some other highlights.

@C M Have you been watching their games? I’m an avid Knicks fan. My Dad watched the Knicks back in the Patrick Ewing era. I’m a Carmelo/ Jeremy Linn era fan. They need a superstar or a few all-stars. They’ve been getting blown out. Outplayed and outcoached. That’s not mainstream media narratives.

Le Bon Voyage Cafe Le Bon Voyage Cafe I literally have watched every single minute of every singe game. The first game I ever watched was a bulls vs Knicks game in 1995 at the age of 5 with my dad. I don’t think I need to further explain my Knick fandom. There is no way anyone who calls themselves a Knicks fan or basketball fan in general would sit there and say that our roster is the best; those same fans should also be able to see that this team has been underperforming due to Fizdale’s lack of X’s and O’s. Not to mention his inability to hold players accountable due to him being so dependent on being a players coach. He’s never been anything more than that. I don’t want to hear the excuse about him having inadequate talent. I don’t get to say to my boss “hey man, I couldn’t get this work done on time because you didn’t provide me with a quality team” (repeatedly mind you). I or anyone else would get fired. He hasn’t shown any player development since he’s been here. I don’t want to hear it. With that being said he isn’t the only issue, he isn’t even the biggest issue. The biggest happens to be that Steve Mills is still collecting checks for his garbage basketball related decision making and has been since ‘99.

This was an adrenaline game for the knicks. To be expected they would play hard on individual play, but without running plays (lobs, pick and pop, screens etc.) they were doomed to lose.

Wow! Who would’ve thought that if the Knicks game plan was centered around playing to the roster’s strengths, they would be competitive in games??

Literally anyone with a fraction of basketball knowledge so obviously not the media. David fizdale attempted to run an offense with 0 pick and roll action and 50% iso ball when knicks had no player on the roster who averaged over 22 points last season (aka a player who can make their own shot). Fizdale fleeced the knicks, he took his salary and didn’t coach a day during his tenure. When the roster has portis, Morris, Randle, and Gibson how could you possibly not run either the pick and pop or pick and roll, when that would suit their play styles perfectly?? Thank you for the coaching change cause now that their are pick and rolls/pops we are put in a position to win games. You could even see tonight how poor the spacing was on pick and roll attempts due to the lack of practice the team has had, and it’s 2019(where every nba team runs pick and roll).

    • Aaron Roy

      December 8, 2019 at 12:05 am

I also forgot to mention the defensive game plan. Who in the right mind would want to switch every ball screen with the roster the Knicks have?? Why would you want to put slow forwards on an island out on the perimeter going up against the best guards in the league when you have solid guard defenders such and Frank, RJ and Elfrid? And then since they switch you have guards trying to get rebounds against opposing bigs! Tonight switching was at a minimum and while the defense wasn’t stellar, it was much more respectable. With more practice in a system that suits the roster, the Knicks can be a team that competes with nearly every nba team. Don’t blame the front office for building a bad team when we haven’t seen them used anywhere near the full potential. Fizdale set the players up to fail, that is why multiple players are having down years in points and efficiency. I’m not saying front office is perfect but the media is lying when they say Fizdale was a scape goat. He was NOT taking blame, he is the blame he wanted the Knicks to crash and burn after not getting kyrie or kd. And honestly as a knicks fan thank god we aren’t paying KD 30+k to sit on a side line injured for a season. And then paying him even more when he’s on the down turn of his career coming off an ankle injury. Sure it’s KD but I think the Knicks showed maturity in not commingling long term to him. And then they didn’t sign kyrie which was good because kyrie alone with the rest of this roster is not winning the east. I personally applaud the Knicks front office for this past offseason cause instead of pulling a typica knicks transaction and committing long term in a bet in order to “win now” they decided to keep their options open with good contracts and continue building the young roster. If you can’t see that it’s a shame.

So we’re to understand that the players we have forgot how to to do basic basketball shit they were doing on the last team they were on before they somehow got dumped on us?!? No coach can win with this roster and this owner.

So we have no shooters, and the same McDermott we threw away hits a few 3s to spark a run we couldn’t recover from. Meanwhile our “big FA acquisition” misses a tying FT at home and ain’t even getting Morris’ stats. perfect. I hope we don’t win a game until Dolan sells it, no hate on MM he’s a victim too

Randle is at least 0 for 4 this season for clutch time.
