I promise you: Carmelo Anthony won’t take his Blazers chance for granted – Rachel Nichols | The Jump

Published

on

In her daily monologue, Rachel Nichols discusses Carmelo Anthony signing with the Portland Trail Blazers, in an effort to take pressure off Damian Lillard (despite Dame’s lack of hope during an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast). Melo’s long journey to Portland included stops with the Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder and Houston Rockets.

And what else is new??? Anthony has NO CHOICE but to try and make this work!!!

‘Melo has been a LOSER his entire career as a Pro…LATER FOR ‘MELO, he doesn’t DESERVE ANOTHER CHANCE!!!

They didn’t give Allen Iverson a 2nd chance DID THEY???

Lillard needs PLAYER, somebody who can RUN WITH LILLARD…not a FAT, 35 year old, WASHED UP HAS BEEN!!!

Don’t care what nobody where ever you at Carmelo I’m there with you 🤘🏾. You might not be the same as Denver days but you still can score with no problem 🤷🏾‍♂️👌👌👌

Nassir Little started at SF and should continue to start at SF. He is a rookie drafted late. He wont put up flashy numbers. But they need his defense. Melo should obviously start at PF. Just be a stretch 4.

People forget that Melo and Lebron are from the same draft. Yes, Lebron hasnt decline like Melo, but is not crazy to think that Melo has talent even at age 35. I think that after the reality check he will surprise critics.

The problem with Portland is the big guy Josef Nurkic is out with injuries, we need a big guy, bottom line. I personally don’t think Melo will help out, hes not the aggressive player he once was. I mean he’ll make some shots and will be just an average player if that. Portland has a few key players on the injured list, that’s their problem.
