That’s just what a 3rd world country needs right now, an NBA Championship????????????????acting like he’s a war hero

If Danillo Galinari brought one to Italy he wouldnt be celebrated?

    • @BrunoGiovagnoli

      September 13, 2024 at 8:52 am

@@38WorksGr8 I think he would celebrated, but I don’t think he would be meeting the president lol. It may be a huge personal accomplishment for Horford, but I think it’s in bad taste to celebrate him like a national hero while his own people are struggling and all he did is win a sports trophy. He lives in a mansion in the USA, he is no hero of his own people.
Also, we already have one with Belinelli so Gallinari wouldn’t be “first man on the moon”????????

@@BrunoGiovagnoli in the us, the champions meet the president. The medal is a lot, but you know Michael Jordan got the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Sports can be important PR for a country

@38WorksGr8 Celebrations that are all done in the US fool. I could see if the he won the gold for the Dominic republic in Olympics.

Al Horford made All-Star teams in Atlanta, made big bucks with the Celtics and Philly on a reduced role, came back to the Celtics, won a championship and then retired. Nothing but Ws.
