Why does this feel like a finals game 7? This game is gonna be BIG TIME!

lol… because whoever wins this series is getting a Ring as they are, relatively easily in my mind, the best two teams left in the playoffs… we’ll just be enjoying the games as a formality. Last season Denver took the Twolves for granted and KAT played out of his mind. JuJu can’t guard Joker or AG. He just can’t. He isn’t big enough to pretend to even slow down Joker and he isn’t quick or athletic enough to stay with AG. That means Gobert is NOT going to have the help he did last year on Jokic. If the Nuggets play the TWolves it is Denver in 6 if OKC wins they will do it in five as they match up better to Twolves than they do to Denver (well everybody matches up better to someone than Denver… they had the best offense in the league with the best offensive player we’ve ever seen) with only AntMan able to score freely on the Thunder’s defense they won’t have enough points out of their starters much less their bench to keep up.

OKC vs Nuggets Game 7 is going to be HISTORICALLY ICONIC!

No really though…. Imagine they announce MVP and give it to SGA and then Jokić/the Nuggets knock them out of the playoffs winning back to back games against a team that went 68-14 in the regular season.

In reality OKC will most likely be winning due to the advantage of be at home and that they only lost 14 games in the regular season for a reason…. it would be weird to lost back to back, but easily done if they CHOKKEEE!

Murray is 9:3 in Elimination Games and Murray 10:5. And If they lose It’s Not a disappointment. After this Regular Season they doing great. They only can win. And Okc can only lose

Shai reaching for that frustration foul really changed the game. Big change in momentum that the nuggets never really let up. Cant wait for GAME 7!!!

    May 16, 2025 at 6:05 pm

Refs helped them whole OKC starting 5 in foul trouble at half time so they can’t be aggressive on defense

    May 16, 2025 at 6:15 pm

the best series of this playoffs by far… hope the refs be more neutral on G7 bc the favoritism towards the home team has been obvious

      … You come

  24. @guiwhiz

    May 16, 2025 at 11:15 pm

Just to add a little sauce to the conversation…
Michael Jordan’s infamous ‘Flu Game’ 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block in 45 minutes on the court. He went 13 of 27 and shot 12 free throws. Nobody else on his team scored more than 17.
Jamal Murray’s ‘Flu Game’ yesterday 25 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, and 1 block in 42 minutes. He went 9 of 19 and shot 6 free throws. Two of his fellow starters scored over 20 with Joker leading with 29.

So not even trying to jokingly pretend you can compare the two players on a whole by any means, but this infamous game of Jordan’s that showed just how tough a competitor he was, rising to the occasion to chase a Championship… I’ve gotta say… Jamal actually shows that up with his output this game. So what does that say about Jamal Murray?

  25. @guiwhiz

    May 16, 2025 at 11:24 pm

I loved AG’s look at Hartenstein when he seemed confused for having a foul called when he grabbed AG around the neck while AG had clearly fully secured the rebound. Like ‘seriously guy?’.

Denver has new KCP in the name of Strawther now they can definitely dominate in both outside and inside especially Jokic in the paint due to the defense will be up to beyond the arc

Amazing how the Nuggets improved on defense in the playoffs. I’ve watched a lot of regular season games of the Nuggets, I never thought they can fight thunder to a game 7. Their ability to adapt and overcome is giving me the 2011 Dallas Mavericks feeling.

It’s called playing a zone because if they played man to man they would have gotten blown off the court in every game against OKC.

Reasons why Nuggets will lose game7
    – no defense
    – shooting bricks
    – MPJ
    – Westbrook
Who the hell want Nuggets vs Wolves in the WCF when they can’t even 1 game against the Wolves on regular season , the Wolves will gonna sweep them if they’re lucky to win this OKC series.
