You gotta give credit to Andrew Wiggins, Bam Adebayo, Norman Powell and Tyler Herro. They played their asses off tonight against Orlando, but at the end of the night they just didn’t have enough to get it done against Orlando.

Miami only shot 24% from 3. Orlando did a very good job of defending the 3 ball tonight. That’s a big reason why Miami lost tonight.

I had to check that the speed of play was normal. I thought maybe I was watching at 1.2. The speed the teams were play at is incredible.

  24. @johncherskov5755

    December 9, 2025 at 10:31 pm

That’s been the problem ever since Wade retired and that era ended. The type of players on the Heat totally shifted. Happened the first time this type of team went to the finals and that’s when I stopped watching as much. This Heat team and way of play seems like it can get them all the way to the playoffs or finals, barely, but some team is going to score like that or they’re going to run into some really stacked western team that’s scoring 3’s like it’s nothing nowadays and then what.

Heat have to face the fact we lost our primary on ball defender who could switch from 1-4 – thatโ€™s pistons and Orlando can beat us at our own game. Effective aize continues to be an issue
