Man, this game shows how important Capela is to the Hawks. Really needed him for this game😔

exactly, being unable to secure rebounds has became our biggest problems, also dejounte and trae should not have got cocky after going up double digits, it’s not good sportsmanship

@Natty Delights well i don’t have the mindset of being so confident that your team is going to win even when the opponent is a bottom tier team, neither should anyone else, the hawks should have the same energy they play against a contender team, it’s not that they can’t beat houston i mean they already did beat houston in the home opener but it’s all about the execution that costed us

@Natty Delights We didn’t have capela, he helps with defense, allowing us to maintain our leads.

Nate McMillan and John Collins are holding the Hawks back from being an elite team…trade Collins for a good PF replacement then maybe they could carry Nate to a chip

missing Capela was the problem tonight though

Good comeback win from the young Rockets. The young duo Jalen Green and Jabari Smith really showed out.
Hawks losing despite Trae Young and Dejounte Murray both going off for 40 points each is concerning. No other double digit scorers besides their rookie A.J Griffin. John Collins and De’Andre Hunter’s consistency is very concerning for a starting frontcourt.

maybe if we could actually rebound and not give houston 2nd chance opportunities we could’ve actually won this game, capela is a huge loss

This loss is absolutely disgusting and i know some fellow hawks fans feel the same way. I cannot believe the way we executed the end of this game. Like what are we even doing, how can you continuously allow houston to get 2nd chance opportunities over and over again. Now i truly understand the importance of capela because without him we struggle to get rebounds. I know trae and dejounte had incredible scoring nights but their execution in the 4th quarter costed us big time. I know trae is a star player but some of his shot selections are unacceptable. The fact that we had a 16 point lead and just collapsed on defense since then was awful. I know teams have these embarrassing losses and i guess it was just one of those nights despite trae and dejounte having incredible offensive performances. Hunter and collins did not get much touches which was a problem, without capela, we could not get rebounds defensively and it costed us in the end because houston was able to score off 2nd chance points. The defense is extremely inconsistent, one night it’s great the other night it’s awful. We need to be consistent on the defensive end and i expect improvement from this moving forward. Nate needs to address the issue of unable to secure rebounds. This is by far our biggest problem and why we lost this game tonight, i hope we can bounce back against miami and actually show defensive improvements.

This was a great win from us the refs were on their bullshit this entire game but we managed to fight back and pull out the W.

Jabari had another great game I need to see him play like this the rest of the way KJ continues his leap as a valuable role player for us with his amazing double double and Jalen Green continues doing his thing with scoring 30 points.

Bad part was our defense Trae and Murray were getting anything they want but at the same time they lost because they were playing too much iso and we played some team basketball in the end.

Back to back against OKC tomorrow let’s get that win fellas

OUR defense struggled, the rockets just took advantage of the hawks inconsistent defense, hawks had terrible execution in this game in the 4th

Man i swear games like these are frustrating as hell. Everytime we take a big lead, we lose it by shooting ourselves out of the game and letting off the gas. There should be no reason why we are losing to the Rockets and allowing people to go off on us. Garrison Mathews and KJ Martin really? The Hawks are so damn frustrating its annoying.

P.S. I want John Collins TF out of Atlanta ASAP

Hawks got cocky, had an altercation, and then lost. Boom.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
