This reminds me of Draymond dumb shot against the spurs why didn’t Trae Young touch the ball he is the best player let him choose to take it or Pass it same for Steph no reason for draymond to take that shot

      February 10, 2021 at 10:29 pm

Trae got used to getting freethrows from small contact so he thought he gonna get one that’s why he decided to flop at the last play. I’m a Mavs fan I was worried the last play Collins was wide open good thing Huerter is not a good passer..

He makes the right plays at the right time. He knows the double is coming and when to pass to keep the defense off balance. His basketball iq and feel for the game can’t be taught which is why he will go down as one of the greatest.

Towards the end Trae was on the floor because he was fouled on a screen. Heurter had to quickly give to Danilo. But that ball should’ve been given to Trae. Ref didn’t blow the whistle. But Hawks should’ve came away with it but their 4th quarter woes shows once again how poorly managed the squad is. Hawks could easily be 1 or 2nd if they don’t shoot theirselves in the foot during the 4th quarter. Is it fitness issues? Hawks didn’t play for 3 days??!?! it is management issues. Hawks need a new coach.

  31. kaii231

    February 11, 2021 at 10:43 am

This game was won and lost by the refs. Hawks were clearly in control in both games when Capela was on the floor. He’s not a player who’s usually in foul trouble but the refs made sure that he spent half of both games vs the mavs on the bench.

    • Who Cares

      February 11, 2021 at 4:38 pm

I agree he’s a problem offensively but his defense I believe will hold him back and the Hawks from ever being serious contenders. How can you play him in the 4th in close games or playoffs its troubling.

Hawks lost that game and because Brunson was hunting Trae in the 4th and it worked.

The Hawks youth really shows. terrible execution down the stretch, Teribble offense off the bench, terrible shot selection. They lost this game for themselves. even gaving Trae set the screen was a DUMB idea. screening a 7 footer LOL. whatcha thinks gonna happen?

    • kaii231

      February 11, 2021 at 12:10 pm

Don’t overthink it. Refs kept Capela on the bench all game. Hunter and bogdanovic not playing. Reason Hawks lost.

O say can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming, Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight O’er the ramparts we watch’d were so gallantly streaming? And the rocket’s red glare, the bomb bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there,
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam, In full glory reflected now shines in the stream,
‘Tis the star-spangled banner – O long may it wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore,
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a Country should leave us no more?
Their blood has wash’d out their foul footstep’s pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave, And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
O thus be it ever when freemen shall stand
Between their lov’d home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with vict’ry and peace may the heav’n rescued land Praise the power that hath made and preserv’d us a nation! Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto – “In God is our trust,”
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

HAWKS. YOU CANT KEEP losing close games & THEN EXPECT to RANDOMLY do that successfully in the playoffs😤

Hard loss, but fought hard by the Hawks. Cant really blame Coaching on this one, which is what WE Hawks fans do often.

Although…. As an ATL native. I will say that it’s clearly obvious Full Strength or not, everybody has injuries. When you get to the playoffs, you got to put these players in position to thrive and your closer a chance to close.

In the past 12 years, ATL has assembled 3 title contending teams, and either fallen to LBJ, D12, & the masterful Celtics…
we can keep tryna find new pieces but the staff gotta find a way to Close Games, it’s a pattern.
