It’s sensationalism. They don’t even guard each other or play similar positions. Theirs not even a rivalry or bad talk to each other. It’s things people make up in their mind in this new low attention era in order to create dialogue because people are lonely. Gotta make up things and turn this into some rivalry now between Harden and Jokic LMAO

    • @clasifi1

      May 2, 2025 at 4:33 am

Low IQ take…Duncan was playing with the likes of Ginobili & Parker. Not to mention Popovich was his team’s coach. The Nuggets have no coach, Porter Jr is badly injured, Murray is as inconstant as it gets, (you never know which version will show up), they have no bench, and icing on the cake, With Jokić on the floor, the Nuggets are among the league leaders in almost every major statistical category, including offensive rating, field goal percentage, and assist-to-turnover ratio. When he is off the court, their offensive rating plummets to the worst in the NBA. Specifically, their net rating with Jokić on the court is among the best in the league (+12.4 at one point), while their net rating without him drops to -16.6
And here you are, comparing Duncan…apples and oranges, context matters….Give Jokic a solid team for a more realistic comparison…Imagine Jokic playing for the Celtics, Thunders…The difference would be day and night.

@@clasifi1 lmao “low IQ take” sure Mr. Naismith….
But on a serious note, since when do we ever do what if comparisons and change the entire scenario??? No jokic is on the nuggets for better or worse. If they were all in their primes and jokic was asked to guard Shaq or Duncan, he’s cooked… If you think it’s a bad take, that’s your opinion that I couldn’t give a hot damn about 👌🏿🤝🏿

@@kingmitchell456 Funny, for someone who ‘doesn’t give a damn,’ you sure took the time to prove otherwise. And it’s still a low IQ take.

    • @K-xb2qz

      May 2, 2025 at 12:01 pm

They both would feast on Jokic poor defense. He would foul out guarding Shaq. Shaq would punish Joker but Jokic would put in some work on offense as well. He’s a great player all around other than on the defensive end

Why Harden doesn’t (or can’t) always play with this level of intensity on every playoff game, I will never understand. His playoff inconsistency has nothing to do with just missing shots or having a bad game. He historically has just suddenly disappeared from games in the postseason. Even though he’s still been inconsistent in this series, this is overall the most positively impactful I’ve seen him in a playoff series in many years. He’s obviously already a first-ballot HoF’er, but if he can help lead this Clippers team to really deep playoff run, it could be great for his playoff legacy. If he can play really well in game 7, and the Clippers somehow knock off Denver on their home floor, I would argue it would be the biggest series win of Harden’s career. At least since he was with OKC.
